ahh ! sorry for not being on. i recently had to move in order to start a summer work thing back at my uni, so i’ve just been focusing on that. i’m going to have to do some more stuff tomorrow, but to any replies or starters i’m doing, i’ll queue them for posting tomorrow. tysm for your patience. i should be better for normal activity on/after the 14th. <3

☼ ❛ — earlier, i could’ve sworn i saw PARK HYUNGSIK on campus, but it’s just CHOI HYUNWOO. i heard they were sorted as a FLARE and they’re only TWENTY-ONE years old majoring in HISTORY here at imperium, which isn’t surprising considering their ability is INVULNERABILITY. people call him the THE FICKLE HEART because he is supposedly CHARMING, but also INDECISIVE but who knows if that’s true, it’s their ability that matters.

BIOGRAPHY—

born to a pretty loving and powerful mother and father (mother - power negation, father - spatial-temporal lock) in an upper-class family. has an older brother (imperceptibility) that’s like 8 yrs older than him, so hyunwoo was very much the baby and spoiled rotten.

a super rowdy boy as a kid. became aware of his powers early on bc lil shit was always tussling around and getting in fights and pulling people’s hair.

one day, he bet !two! bags of sour gummy worms that he could climb to the top of the school roof, got there, danced some Hammer Time™ in celebration, tripped and fell right off the side of the building, and. . . came out unscathed??

despite being immensely hyperactive, he was still a pretty smart dude. family became super ecstatic when they realized he had invulnerability because the potential that came with that power was great.

however, as hyunwoo started to feel increasingly pressured by his parent’s and brother’s expectations, he started slacking off on everything real quick.

although his family cared for him, they all become frustrated at him as the years continued. he was too busy acting reckless when he could’ve been spending his time honing his abilities so that they could protect him not just from physical damage, but also mental and emotional damage or even until it expanded into immortality. after all, he discovered his powers early and he had the best resources available to him for training since he came from a reputable, wealthy background.

but frankly, hyunwoo didn’t give a fuck about prestige. when it was time to go to college, he was ready to go to an average place to study history, but then his father was threatened.

an enemy of his father’s did a lot of mental damage to him during a stand-off, prompting a huge wake-up call for their family.

 hyunwoo, despite usually being able to talk or move around to get the things that he wanted was given an ultimatum of going to imperium or losing all ties with his family, and given the sensitivity of his father’s health, he didn’t fight too hard against their decision this time.

after being here for a couple years and seeing the confidence of the gleams, he can’t help but feel slightly bitter at the thought of having previously let go of the opportunity to have his skills as controlled as they do.

still, he’s scared of what developing his invulnerability could mean for him because he isn’t the most self-righteous guy and could easily see himself falling down the wrong path.

so he’ll study what he can, have as much fun as he can, and let the days happen as they must.

PERSONALITY—

hedonistic af. he can’t feel pain or have any visible scars, but he sure as hell can feel all the pleasure his heart and dick desires.

takes care of self-interests over all. something about growing up without pain has caused him to become apathetic. not necessarily in the sense that he knows someone’s struggling and wants to not care, he’s just like “....lol can’t relate, good luck bruh, not my business.” he doesn’t know how to make things better or how to take care of others because he hasn’t really needed to in the past.

so flirty, like eye winks and air kisses @ everyone. he’s an absolute mess when it comes to anything romantic. he’s more like a puppy dry-humping your leg and then asking for a snack as a reward. 

so tall and gangly so he’s been trying to compensate for the awkwardness that comes with being a bean sprout by becoming more athletic. in track & field, plays defense in men’s lacrosse, and loves fight club so fucking much. he has to train because invulnerability doesn’t mean jack shit if he can’t do anything except not get hurt.

a hoe for dates and facts and stories. history is extra and dramatic just like him, and it’s easy to memorize details. like mentioned before, he was already a pretty smart dude and learning always came easily to him. the problem is that he’s just too damn lazy to do much with it or care about how far he can push himself, so he’d rather not. 

likes coffee even though coffee hates him, sunshine, dogs, video games, and is just all over the place as much as he’s all over people.
