IMPULSE ENGLISH communication

Hello dear followers! We do hope you've made a fabulous start to the New Year, and you're still keeping at least a couple of your New Year resolutions!! Those of us at IMPULSE ENGLISH would like to take this opportunity of mentioning that 2018 finds us with a new project that is already overlapping our usual IMPULSE ENGLISH activities, and will possibly substitute them completely in the course of the next few months. Not only are we offering in-company English classes as well as our usual private tuition and coaching sessions, but we've also opened a premises where we'll be programming a wide range of activities for you to have the opportunity to practise English with our group of fun and adventure-loving native speakers. You are of course all warmly invited to come and visit us in Calle Embajadores 128 (Metros Delicias, Embajadores, Legazpi). IMPULSE ENGLISH activities and recommendations for the coming week...

The usual week-end hikes wth Jonathan - on Saturday to the Cerro SL Telégrafo, and on Sunday a Bustamante ridge hike. As always, for more details, please contact: Hikingmadrid@hikingmadrid.com The Christmas pantomime JACK AND THE BEANSTALK will still be showing this week-end - for times and prices, see our calendar of the poster. Our weekly conversation groups will still be meeting for another 2 weeks until the Christmas break (until December 20). So again, please check our calendar for venues and times. We'll be celebrating our last ENGLISH FILM NIGHT of 2017 on Wednesday 13th December. The chosen film is : MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS. From experience it's best for everyone to buy their own tickets and we'll meet outside the cinema at just before 18h. As always make we'll be going for some drinks and "tapas" afterwards, accompanied by some English conversation, of course! We've included some posters of the usual Christmas Fairs around the city where you will find those extra Christmas gifts, and enjoy a festive drink with friends. I'll take a look at the films that will be showing and choose the most happy and entertaining one of them all - to get us nicely in the Christmas spirit! IMPULSE ENGLISH ACTIVITIES AND RECOMMENDATIONS..... for the coming week...

As usual, at IMPULSE ENGLISH we continue to organise and promote events to give you the opportunity to speak English with native speakers.... On Wednesday a small group of us went to see the film THE BOOKSHOP, directed by Isabel Coixet. I mention a "small" group, because several people didn't book their seat in advance, and were disappointed on the day to find it had been a complete sell-out, with no seats available! That actually brings to mind a nice English expression: The early bird gets the fattest worm!!! So, if you're keen to join us for a future ENGLISH FILM NIGHT - do try to book our seat online a couple of days in advance.... ******************************************************** This week-end brings the usual Saturday and Sunday hikes... On Saturday the route is to El Berrueco Watch Tower and Atazar reservoir, and on Sunday, a Lonely Mountain hike in Guadalix de la Sierra.
