Sebastian raises a brow, his mind does a feasible amount of wandering until he speaks again. “If you’re going to start dressing like Sofia, I won’t let you out of this house.” He teases wagging a finger at her before retreating to the kitchen.

“Oh, in that case I’ll have to dress like her more.” She watched him leave and smiled. She left him cooking and changed in to one of her new dresses - adding a little more make up to look a little nicer before stepping out in to the main room. “So... what do you think?”

He looked down, her comforting smile not doing much on easing his feelings. “Alright, come in”, he murmured quietly, and headed towards the house without saying any other word. William had no idea how to tell her of this, he hadn’t even said it out loud since it all happened. He went to the funeral, he saw his brother’s body, he said his goodbyes, but it still felt like a twisted dream. He leaned against the door after he closed it, his eyes empty. He opened his mouth once, and nothing left. Then he physically felt his heart breaking, and he felt lost, “LJ… He is gone”

Ella followed him in to the house. The last thing she was expecting to hear was that he was grieving over the loss of his brother. “Will...” She stepped a little closer. “I’m so sorry.” Her arms wrapped around him to give him a hug. “Anything you or your family needs, I’m here. Just know that.”

He shifted his hues towards her presence, “A reminder.” he simply said though he expected her not to truly fully understand, after all who could? All those that Samael was close to he had either slain himself or died by another’s cause. The only entity that forever remained was Death. He folded his arms over his chest as he turned back ahead, “How one dies shows how one lived.” he responded keeping his hues focused on those before them.

Her eyebrows scrunched slightly in confusion. “A reminder of what?” She asked, out of curiosity. She didn’t know if she should ask this many questions but she wanted to understand. “Well, yeah. Exactly. I makes you appreciate what you have, for sure.”

“These?” Raising up the set of keys, letting the dangle from one of his fingers he wiggled them around a bit in front of her until it looked like she was going to reach for them, dropping his hand behind his back. “Can’t say I have.”

“Oh yeah, that’s th-” Ella moved forwards to try and take them before he hid them behind his back. “Erm, please can I have my keys?” She asked nicely.

“If you’re not too busy, that would be a great help.” Ella smiled to the fellow red head. “There’s about three keys on them with a cherry key ring on it.”

“I’m pretty they’re on the table behind you,” Stefan pointed to them.

Hearing the familiar voice, she looked up. “Stefan? Didn’t you...” She shook her head, choosing not to question it too much. Her head turned to the table and sighed. “Yeah, thank you. I’m such an air head sometimes.”

“I can put something together I’m sure.” He at least hopes it as he didn’t plan or shop for anything grand as he usually does when cooking for her. “Something else? Don’t leave me with such suspense.”

Ella smiled, looking down. “Well, remember I did go shopping today and Sofia isn’t exactly one for comfortable clothes, let’s just say that.” She pressed one more kiss on his lips before stepping back. “To the kitchen, chef Hagen.”

“Can’t say that I have,” Gabe glanced around as Ella started moving things. “Where was the last place you saw them, or remember having them?”

“I was sorting through my bag around here, I went to the toilet with my bag and realised my keys were missing. So they’re somewhere here... They’re not in the toilet.” She knew she was babbling a little more than she should. “They have a cherry key ring on them.”

“That... is a good shout.” Ella pointed to her and then moved over to the chairs, checking behind each one. Of course she would find them behind the last one. “Thank you!”

“It is quite a lot to take in.” he responded as he begun to walk away from the sidewalk nearer to the store’s wall turning his back to it as he rested it against. Sapphire hues now observing the traffic briefly before looking at the redhead, “Good, I am relieved,” he said giving a small pause, “You seem more happier too, things are becoming better for you, yes?” he added as he gazed onto the redheads presence

“Why did you change then?” She asked curiously. “Better than dying, absolutely!” Ella smiled up to him. “I guess when you start dying, you kinda learn to appreciate things more than you did before. Things look just a little brighter and greener.”

If possible, Sofia smiled even more. “Wait, you love him? Ella, that’s amazing.” She replied, feeling finally back to normal as they talked about Ella’s boyfriend.

“I think so. I’m not very good with... I don’t know what love is supposed to feel like but I think I do. I just don’t want to say it back until I’m sure.” She looked down, still smiling but slightly less so. “I’m going to his house tonight actually. I think he’s going to cook for me and if not... I’ll use my birthday as an excuse for him to cook. And I want to look nice so I need a new outfit if you think you’re up to the challenge.”

A hum resounded within his throat as he rested his hand against is hip, “This isn’t a vessel.” saying as he slowly turned his hand uncurling his fingers staring onto his opened palm, “This is human appearance, and has been so since I was known by as Thanatos.” he responded as he shut his hand closed into a fist, hues shifting to the redhead as a smile creased upon his features, “How have you been, Ella?” he asked as he turned to face her properly.

“I don’t know what any of that means.” She spoke honestly, resting her hands on her hips. “I’m good, thank you. And thanks again for everything you’ve done for me. Really, I do appreciate it.”

Sofia listened to Ella’s story with a smile on her face.  Part of her did think once that Will and Ella could go beyond just training, but seeing how happy her friend was she couldn’t be happier for Ella. “I’m really happy for you. He sounds like a great guy.”

“He really is.” Ella smiled. “And I, I think I’m starting to love him. He’s already told me that he loves me and I’m starting to feel the same I think.”

Sapphire hues gazed down onto the redhead briefly as he took a step to the side, lips parted, “That it was,” he paused as he looked towards the road watching the traffic momentarily before he turned to face the girl once more, “It’s been quite some time, Ella. You’ve recovered from the poison’s effects quite nicely. I’m pleased.” saying as his head tilted to the side. He was sure his appearance would confuse the other, “It’s Samael.” he said softly as he watched the other. 

Ella’s smile dropped when he started speaking, until he confirmed who he was of course. “Oh.” She still was entirely used to the whole angel’s having vessels thing so it had certainly thrown her off. “Why did you change vessel?” She asked curiously, though her smile was slowly coming back.

Ella had just finished shift and leaving work. It had been a pretty easy day, nothing challenging. It meant she had plenty of time to get herself showered and change clothes to see Bash later on. Crossing the road, she was walking past a window of a shop when a man stepped out. Sucking in a breath, she stopped in her tracks and looked up to him. “That was a close one.” She laughed slightly.

Walking passed the crowds of individuals, Samael remained hidden from others eyesight. After all he was planning, strategizing his moves with precision. As he wandered he held his hand out as he passed a corner, his hues shifting down as he saw the remnants of Nyx’s grace rippling throughout his palm. Lips formed into a small smile as a flicker of darkness slipped inside it, head tilting as it begun to drift further concealing it’s presence. He shut his fingers into a fist as he returned it to his side, he stopped briefly as he noticed Ella from afar. Moving more freely without the pain she had endured prior to when Samael came to her aid, removing the poison that coursed throughout her body. He took another step forward as he passed by a window, his presence slowly revealing itself as his reflection glimmered against it’s surface.
