I started rewatching Fringe recently and it really seemed to age much worse than the X-Files...?

I haven't even watched that much of Fringe and I'm not surprised to hear this.

Like, The X-Files, warts and all, tried to be About Shit. (Or maybe it didn't even try, it's just that something was in the air.) Sins of our fathers, in the very immediate and literal way, Cold War and Operation Paperclip mapped onto one family's history. Modernity in the shape of two state agents paving over freaky, weird, dangerous Americana of yore hiding in dark corners. Flirting by swapping unhinged Fortean theories. I'm the Weekly World News in the shape of the girl, that kinda shit.

And I'm saying this as someone broken by season 9 at the latest rewatch, because Mother darling what was that horseshit. It got real bad circa season 7 ngl.

And I don't think Fringe got anything like that going on under the hood. It's fun, sure. But. I'd rather rewatch The Librarians.

Just wanted to ask, do you know about a site called Kemono . su ? I randomly googled my patreon username (its also the username of several public accounts of mine) and one of the google results was for that site linking one of your patreon posts. I guess its like an archive site that illegally uploads people's paywalled patreon posts along with all the comments people make on them. So I guess my horny comments on a couple of your posts that I thought were private and behind a patreon paywall will now pop up whenever someone googles my twitter/IG username since its the same as my patreon lol. Obviously not your fault or anything but just thought you might wanna know about the site in case you were feeling litigious or something lol, idk how much you care/don't care about people reposting your art. Anyways, have a good day

I may have heard of it, but I'm too used to art being reposted, scraped, trained on, etc, to care.
