The new PMP® Exam had launched on 02 January 2021. Check out this article to discover the differences between the new PMP® Exam and the previous one.Number of Questions
The new PMP® examination is comprised of 180 questions (the old one was 200 questions), including
175 scored questions, and
5 pretest (unscored) questions.
They are all randomly placed throughout the examination.
Exam Durations
PMP® aspirants have 230 minutes to complete 180 questions. For computer-based tests, attendants also have 10-minute breaks between two sections of the PMP® exam. That makes the exam last for 4 hours in total. No scheduled breaks for paper-based exams.
Exam Content Outline
The new PMP® exam focuses on 3 new domains:
PEOPLE – emphasizing the skills and activities associated with effectively leading a project team. This domain takes 42% of the questions in the PMP® exam.
PROCESS – reinforcing the technical aspects of managing a project. This domain takes 50% of the questions in the PMP® exam.
BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT – highlighting the connection between projects and organization strategy. This domain takes 8% of the questions in the PMP® exam.
Questions related to predictive, agile and hybrid approaches are included across all 3 domains of the PMP® exam.

The most recent edition contains detailed insights from 32,000 respondents in 42 countries, with wage statistics presented in native currency in each country's reports. This edition includes wage data from five previously unknown countries: Indonesia, Pakistan, the Philippines, Portugal, and the Russian Federation. And this critical information may assist recruiters, human resource experts, and compensation specialists in establishing fair and balanced pay for project management jobs inside their businesses.
Overall Findings
Almost three-quarters of survey respondents (72%) indicate that their total remuneration (including salary, bonuses, and other types of compensation) grew in the 12 months before the salary survey. Approximately one-quarter (28%) reported increases of at least 5% over that time period.

PDUs gained in education can surpass this amount, and there is no limit to the number of PDUs that can be obtained.

It is crucial to understand that giving back is an optional way to earn PDUs. The above-mentioned giving back criteria are the maximum number of PDUs permitted for any certification in this category. If PDUs are gained by handing them back, the sum cannot exceed the above-mentioned restrictions.
