NARRATIVE REPORT
BIOGRAPHICAL DATA
         The intern is named Charlotta Doyayag. She is 18  years old and lives at Barangay 8, Carmona, Cavite. She was born on November 2, 2000 at Lepanto Mankayan Benguet. She has only two siblings and she was the youngest child among them. Her religion is Roman Catholic. 
     The intern parent are Luzviminda Doyayag and Bernard Doyayag. Luzviminda is household wife and Bernard is Drilling.
     I’m fun of playing ball games like softball when I was in High School and I’m so happy that I really experience being athlete in almost 3 years but I stop playing when I transfer here at Carmona Cavite when I was grade 10. But I’m so proud to my self that I can do all things through Christ who give me strength..
I’m a happy and jolly person and I can go with the flow as long as you can with mine too. I’m loving and hard working person.

                                                                  INTRODUCTION
Internship or on the job training is one way by which we students are given an opportunity to apply the theories and computations that we have learned from school. It also helps us to obtain applicable knowledge and skills by performing in actual work setting. Colleges and universities require their students to undergo such training within a specific number of hours as part of the curriculum           For us students, an OJT or internship program provides opportunities to go through the actual methodologies of a specific job using the real tools, equipments, and documents. In effect, the work place becomes a development venue for us student trainee to learn more about our chosen field and practice what we have learn from academy.           On the other hand, a valuable OJT program also profits the companies who accept trainees. First OJT or intern provides extra manpower for a less significant labor cost than a regular employee. Most of them are all eager to learn the ropes so chances are high that they’ll be given a chance to work on the same company as an employee after graduating. Employers can use this internship strategy as method in recruiting employees. Since the trainer or supervisor can follow the trainees’ progress, he can gauge based on performance, behavior and attitude if the trainee will make good recruit after the completion of his internship. We trainees can bring fresh ideas into the organization. Given the opportunity to converse our minds freely and without fear, we may be able to contribute significantly in brainstorming sessions or research and eventually help improve the organizations productivity
 Significance of the On-the-Job Training
  On-the-Job-Training or OJT is job training that occurs in the work place. It has many advantages, but it can also have a few disadvantages if the OJT is not planned and executed properly. It is part of a college curriculum that aims to train and orient students about the work and their future career. It is very important not only to teach students their chosen career but to show students the reality about working.
 Objectives of On-the-Job Training 
        On-the-job training uses the existing workplace tools, machines, documents, equipment, and knowledge to teach an employee how to effectively do his job. The simple objective of OJT is to use the existing environment, tools, and skill training available in the workplace to train employees to do their jobs on the job.

      TDLC Travel and Tours is a full-service travel agency offering the best travel deals from Philippine and Asian Destinations. Established in 2015, TDLC TRAVEL AND TOURS is a family business in Binan Laguna, “Love for travel” was the reason behind the venture of the business, started as a vision the family decided to put up a travel agency that will provide affordable packages so that everyone can experience the joy of traveling.
      After a year of operation TDLC became an official Partner of Cebu Pacific as well as Sky jet Airlines and Jetstar Airways, for the time being we have already support and brought guest to our industry partners, and continuously seeking and developing packages, tours and extending our Expertise to provide quality service to our client and would like to continue doing so in the future.

     Our mission is to provide the ultimate travel planning experience, while becoming a one stop shop for every travel service available in the industry. From Private Jets, airline tickets, hotels, worldwide luxury resorts, cruises, trains to car rentals.

      TDLC Travel and tours is headed my Ms. Gladys Ramos, the owner of the company and Ms. Alyssa Marie Tawat she is responsible for all the transactions of the company.
        THE TRAINING AREA
        TDLC Travel and Tours was composed of 1 namely: TDLC travel and tours. Accordingly, the trainee was assigned to explore in the TDLC travel and tours in San Antonio, Binan Laguna.
Department Function – Travel Agency
    A TDLC Travel and Tours is a travel agent that fully manages the business travel requirements delegated by an individual, company or organization to fundamentally save clients both time and money. A TDLC is also commonly known as a business travel agency or corporate travel provider.
Management Structure
     TDLC travel and tours shall be managed primarily by working owners/partners. The company will engage more of a functional organization structure whereby people shall be focusing on their prime area of expertise. However, in engaging this organization structure we intend to ensure that there is open communication between all personnel at all levels. With such a group we believe it will be simple to communicate with and support one another. As the company grows there will be more structure to the utilizing, with new employees being assigned a supervisor or subordinate. When the company is at its full staff potential, it will operate as any closely held utilizing, but maintain the personal interest in each employee's personal and family welfare and their contributions to the business.

A. Company Culture
          TDLC TRAVEL & TOURS has been serving its countless satisfied customers since 2015. A full-service travel agency that company has grown to what it is today, a major travel service provider that is counted among the ranks of the most reputable travel agencies in the Philippines. An IATA travel agency that is accredited by the Philippine Department of Tourism and an active member of the Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTTA), TDLC Travel & Tours has a computerized Travel center at its offices in Manila and is linked with three (3) major global distribution systems (GDS) namely Galileo, Amadeus, and Abacus. Satisfied major corporate accounts and leisure travelers have entrusted their outbound and inbound Travel arrangements with the Company including arrangements for international and local conferences, incentive travel and pure leisure travel for groups and individuals.
         Performance with Purpose. Generally, the role of travel agency manager offers a lot of scope for variety and progression. In larger companies, this may mean moving up the management ladder to area manager roles or to another specific area of the business such as PR, human resources or marketing. Typically, as a new entrant, you'll need to gain two to three years' experience as a sales consultant before being able to apply for a team leader position, and a further two to three years' experience before applying for branch management roles. You may need to relocate to gain promotion if working for a larger company or move between companies if you're working for a smaller independent company. By specializing in a few chosen destinations, opportunities may arise to relocate or spend time working abroad where you could forge links with travel partners overseas. Alternatively, you may move into education tourism.

When people talk about teamwork, they mean more than just completing a task, however: they mean the work that comes from people working together effectively. The strength of a team comes from supporting each other, communicating well, and doing your share. Other characteristics that define a team include similar skills, autonomy, defined roles, defined leadership, and the resources to meet the joint goal. For example, imagine a group of people all pulling a rope. Not only do they share a goal, but they are using the same or similar skills. You perform team building exercises when your team needs to work on improving their role definitions or their communication skills. A team includes a designated authority figure who resolves their differences and makes decisions. Regardless of enmity between members, with a good leader, a team can accomplish their goals. A collaborative team is a slightly different version of a traditional team because its members have differing skill sets. Although the members have varying areas of expertise, they still share similar goals, resources, and leaders
      THE TRAINING EXPERIENCE
 Tasks Performed
          The intern performed several chores. All of the performance that the intern does was needed to be responsible, competitive and prepared for to enter the real world of the environment or society.
           These activities were broad, but not limited to the following:
·         Answering phone calls
·         Answering messages on social media
·         Computing tour packages
·         Printing, scanning and photocopying
Answering phone calls from internal management
1. Filling up the documents and report to you supervisor.
2. Ask other clients for feedbacks.
3. Checking the feedbacks and follow up messages of the clients.
Answering messages on social media
       The intern answering messages from facebook or emails and jut down their information about what they are going to book a place,
  Computing tour packages
     The intern was computing some tour packages and send the rates to the clients online and waiting for their responds.
Printing, scanning and photocopying
    The intern was able to print some flyers and after that they are giving it to the companies.
 Strengths of the training area
      The intern strategy is to grow the business by nurturing clients, differentiating the service from our competitors, particularly through service and staff behavior. All criteria from customer satisfaction, service provision, price competitiveness to staff attitudes are to be looked at thoroughly in the initial stages as areas for improvement. Alliances and collaboration with hotels, lodges and travel agencies are to be adopted as strategies for market penetration. Training will be conducted on a regular basis to ensure that our staff is fully meeting customer expectations.
 Weaknesses of the training area
    The interns training area is not too big sometimes the clients don’t have any seats because there are plenty of clients and some of the clients are irritated. Being too small is a weakness – there are some opportunities that cannot be taken on by a one or two person office. Being too large can be a weakness if the size of your travel agency results in slow decision making or too-rigid policies. Too few personnel, a poor location, outdated collateral can all be considered weaknesses. A lack of experience is a weakness, as is a lack of capital.

Hello again bloggerrs! It’s my 13th Day. They did not give us task to do because our manager is busy and she did not attend to the office so her assistant say that we are free to do any school assignments , projects , activities in ELMS and do anything else but in a silent way. After an our we received message to our manager saying that we will get the TDLC book and continue our task given before that is typing in the microsoft word following the instructions written there. All. Thankyouuuu again Bloggers!

 Hola! It’s my 12th day of OJT and still I’m blessed :) So now the given task to me is to stamp the colored papers one by one. This colored paper that I stamped give information to the clients when he/she wants to books tickets for flight. We have some details here to inform our customers like cellphone number , location of our company , the name of the company which is TDLC travel and tours. I stamped almost 150 papers and I enjoy.Thank you !

Happy 11TH Day! we do sales call again ! We do sales calling every second week help us to improve and to promote our company TDLC. we are encouraging people to book tickets for flights , to travel and to see the beauty of any other country. To experience the culture , tradition and to taste the delicacy of any other country and to feel free to feel the fun and enjoyment. We list down the names of those people who will receive or people who will be given flyers because it is one of our manager request. We do that not just for easy job but we need to do our best to finish this work at the given time as soon as possible.

Hey bloggers! It’s 9th day. I’m happy to start this day I just don’t know why? This day we write the codes of the US dollar in the bond paper because our manager our going to the Bank to sent the money in Thailand for the tours. She arrange the money due to the given codes and she explain to us what are we going to do. We take time in doing this task because wants you make mistake the dollars will not be counted and our company will loss money the manager of the company the one who will pay for it. The dollars are arrange A to P and we do it successfully . Thank you !

Hello everyoneeeee!  I’ts may 8th day in our immersion ,our manager ask help to assist her in some works to do because she has many assign task that scheduled for today and she is so busy for computing money for all the tours in Korea so she said that we will cut the bond paper into two pieces for printing flyers for the next sales call and this bond papers that we cut this will used as the clients details or any information about tours . Thank you!

It’s may 7th day , On this day we do bookings again and they assist us in booking flights they teach us how to put the flight details in the online bookings of a client and they show to us the given itinerary. They give us time to try how to book tickets for flight and they correct us if we make mistakes. That’s all for today!

Henlo! everyone ! Its may 6th day . I’m already  done with my assign task but I help my co- OJT student  to prepare for flyers  so now  I’m fixing flyers , arranging them by numbers and checking if all the pages, places that may manager mention are all there. I’m so blessed , because I’m enjoying to do the task given to me even do sometimes its hard but I believe in the sayings that  “If others Can Why Can’t I “ Thats all for today ! Thank you

They teach us how to book tickets in flights they show to us different kinds of airline like Cebu Pacific and Philipine Airline, they tell us how to counts seats because there are business class, economy class and VIP clients. They also teach us how to compute the amounts of flights in booking tickets and that IATA Codes. After that they give us the TDLC account and we try to book tickets for flights and lastly  we compute again tour packages to be continued to the last tour package the we had compute last time.

This is my 4th day in work immersion, they teach us how to compute tour packages in any other countries and double and single trip we do that in almost 7hours. because there are many new promos that they offer in any country. It is not easy to compute tourpackage once you made a mistake you are the one who will pay for it  so in doing the task we need to double check using calculator we need to take our time in doing that task in finishing exactly 4pm. In computing tour package there are steps to be follow not just only add and subtract but we need to analyze first if the tour package of the country that we are computing offers promo or not. When computing tour package we need to be wise. Thank you!

Hey! Its my 2nd they in OJT. This day they teach us about how to make and print flyers for our sales call in 1 month and they have two times to do salescall in the malls, supermarkets, schools and any other places that has many people. We make 200 flyers and we distrubute that in just one day. Not just only giving flyers but we are also convincing them have tour and travel in every country. Thank you!

Hello everyone! Its my first day in OJT and im so excited to start first of all they orient us about the rules and regulations, and proper wearing of uniform, the attitudes and they give us the appropriate time in our duty. After that they offer one table for two persons because they did not have enough table inside the office. And we grab that oppurtunity to start our ojt. After that, they explain to us there partnership book entitled “ TDLC Sarap Magbyahe” then they give us time to read what is inside the book. Thats all for today! Thank you!
