this is basically lizzie's "real" body, she hops between flare and the guitar as 'vessels' since she is literally just a nervous system made to latch onto something else and siphon off its bodily functions to live. she has no digestive or circulatory system of her own so she is entirely dependent on flare to survive. this is extremely romantic to her.

i imagine the reason flare and lizzies situation is so urgent in the kim tree is because at some point before arriving at the mall, flare basically waited for lizzie to move over to the guitar and then wouldnt let her back in, assuming they could get rid of her now that she was 'trapped' in there, not realizing that they'd both die if they stayed separated for too long </3

this is only tangentially related to everything else but its something i care very much about so im including it in this post
