im going to watch The Expanse again. there's such a dearth of serious sci fi im willing to put up with some ghost mushroom crap just to get the good shit. they really do a lot with a little, i love the choice they made in teh opening scenes to CGI the subject's hair and rely on acting to sell 0 gee. it works and it's good.

also the way she immediately ties her hair up as soon as she can, i get sick to death of female action protagonists charging around with their hair in their face. that NEVER happens irl. hair goes up as soon as humanly possible when the shit hits the fan. zombie outbreak, armed insurrection, nuclear war, village massacre, i dont care what it is, first thing im doing is tying my hair up. this is true of basically everyone with long hair when confronted with an upcoming action sequence in real life, you'll find some outliers but theyre rare. hair goes up!!!
