How dare they.

How dare they pin my wings, clip my talons, pluck my feathers. I am not a prize to be won. I am not an effigy to be hastily constructed then torn down as if nothing. I was built to stand tall and proud. Both of my heritage and of myself.

Soon, it will be my turn. I shall tear and shred and raze until all of them understand. Understand that I am not there for the amusement of the crowd. I am here to take back what is rightfully mine.

They'll soon regret. They always do

Entry 2 (23:10): My dreams are just dreams. 

Surely this was a dream... Right?  

I mean, there's no way that such a vile, depraved creature is real. Everything about it seemed wrong, disjointed even. The way its tendrils whip and crack as they inch closer as if threatening to cross the border, toeing the line between its world and ours. 

 I had to fight the subconscious urge to look at it. As if something compelling me to turn around, to meet its bloodshot eyes that were open just a little too wide to be human. Instead, I freeze. I feel it's unnerving gaze piercing my back before CRACK.

Entry 3 (23:28) cut down version: Drip 

I hear a tap from behind me. 

I'd barely made it three more steps before I hear a sickening crunch. I freeze in my tracks as i feel something hot and viscous splatter against my back. My eyes widen, hands trembling as I will myself not to regurgitate the contents of my stomach. Somehow I instinctively knew. I see red dripping down my arms, trailing along the divots in my prosthetic. My vision blurs as I see the precious ichor drip, drip, drip from my fingertips, landing ever so delicately among the sand. They hit the floor before I do.
