Robert’s next project is I Swear, directed by Kirk Jones. The story follows the life of John Davidson, from adolescence to adulthood, as he navigates his journey with Tourette’s syndrome — a neurological condition best known for causing motor and vocal tics. In February, several distributors were announced, including StudioCanal in the UK and Ireland. The film is scheduled for release later this year but still has no US distributor. The cast also includes Peter Mullan (King Durin), Maxine Peake, and Shirley Henderson.

i watched lilies not for me today !! a combination of bucolic romance and horror with surrealist elements. it was terribly painful, in ways i did NOT expect. i really really liked it though. not only was it a truly interesting story but also the direction was wonderful (and i very rarely speak like this for contemporary directors, who usually enerve me with their pretentiousness) !! about 95 mins and every moment was meaningful, the pace incredibly effortless and the past-present transition felt natural. also, i watched it without subtitles and understood almost everything, bravo to me.
