Wow, thank you so much, that's so kind of you to say, for one. But since I also love you as an actor and am just wowed by all your performances, you saying all this just made me smile way too much. It's still a little surreal to me that I was nominated for the Emmy, but it makes me happy when I hear people talk about how they watched Monsters and loved how I played the part. Especially the prison scene. Well, the prison scene where they only focused on me anyway, though they do talk about the other prison scene a lot too. And you're calling me handsome? Honey, have you looked in the mirror? That's handsome. Oh, I'm pretty sure I'm losing to Colin Farrell, because that transformation he did to become the Penguin was outstanding. But at least I was nominated, you know? And hey, having you in my corner feels pretty good too.

Mate, I just got caught up on all the Emmy nominations, as it's a show that I religiously watch and I'm a little late on it because I was a little busy with a certain press tour, but I finally saw the list. You being nominated for lead actor in a limited or anthology series is just amazing and definitely well deserved. I've watched Monsters, both seasons. The way you played that part, and then that scene in the prison where they only focused on you, that was some incredible work. It was also nice seeing such a handsome face on my screen. So I just saw the trailer for Twinless, and I can tell you I'm already excited to see it. I don't believe you want the details of everything I was doing, but my roommate and I got along really well, we'll just say that. I was thinking about how much fun we had as roommates on the trip to Vegas, not to mention thinking about a certain shower as well. Let's just say that shower hasn't left my head, and I've been possibly thinking about it too much. But I'm just wondering where you are right now. Because I don't start filming yet, I was curious if you'd be interested in seeing me again and maybe me taking you out on a proper date? Cooper wouldn't lie and say that Jonathan wasn't on his mind a lot, because he was. There was something about him that filled up the space in his head, and it was like he couldn't get enough of thinking about him. Their time had been short in the Maldives, too short if you asked Cooper, but there was still something about Jonathan that took hold of him and refused to let go. And Cooper didn't want to let go, he wanted Jonathan there, and now that they were sharing a hotel room together, sharing this cabana together, and stretched out so close, he knew that Jonathan was going to take root in his mind even more. There was a current throughout the cabana, and he knew it was because everything was so charged between the two of them, and Cooper had a feeling that current would only get worse once they were back in their room, once the public eye couldn't possibly see them. He was doing his best to come off as relaxed and chill, but there was something thrumming underneath his skin, and every time he looked over at Jonathan, that feeling just grew more intense, and it didn't help when he felt Jonathan's eyes on him as well, because he liked that a lot, he liked knowing that Jonathan was watching him. Cooper had to wonder how he was going to survive sharing a room with this man for four days, especially when the tension between them was so raw, so evident. How was Cooper going to be expected not to break? Because there was a part of him that knew that one word from Jonathan and Cooper would be at his mercy without a second thought, and that was a powerful statement. All he knew was that he liked being near Jonathan, liked being with him, and looked forward to spending time with him while they were in Vegas. Though he knew he'd have to spend time with his friends, and Jonathan would have to spend time with his friends as well, Cooper hoped that they'd come back together often. Maybe have more days like this, sprawled out next to each other in a private cabana under the desert heat by the pool, because Cooper would like that. Especially with having the view of Jonathan in his swimwear, because, man, did he look sexy.

Because of that, it had been rather hard for Cooper to focus sometimes because of how good Jonathan looked, and he would admit that when he shifted closer toward Jonathan, part of it was because he wanted to look more and closer, but also just be closer to Jonathan. Cooper's teasing words couldn't be helped, especially since Jonathan made it clear that he was watching him. And when Jonathan's eyes flicked over his mouth, Cooper licked his lips without really thinking about it before returning back to that smug smile that he was giving the other male. Cooper grinned when Jonathan nearly choked on a laugh at his shower comment, which is what Cooper had been expecting, and he was glad he wasn't disappointed. "Mmm, the shower," he replied and raised a brow in return at Jonathan, eyes filled bright and amused as he watched Jonathan think. It was Cooper's turn to laugh, though he couldn't help but turn a little flushed as well, because wasn't that a good thought? Jonathan picturing them in the shower together, or just picturing Cooper alone in the shower—he liked that a lot. "Well, then that's something we have in common because I know I've imagined that exact scenario more than once myself. You're real good at getting my back in those daydreams," his voice went a little lower as he said that, and his lips curled into a playful smile. Cooper watched as Jonathan set his glass down and leaned back again, arm still draped behind him, and at his next words, Cooper just gave him another slow grin. "Is that so? Well, that live demonstration can be arranged anytime you want it," Cooper stated honestly. His eyes never leaving Jonathan's, he was sure that the other male could see what he was feeling in his eyes alone. "As long as the soap is the good stuff, I've got sensitive skin," Cooper teased and grinned back at Jonathan, but it was the next thing that Jonathan said that had Cooper really interested. He was surprised by that, but it made him very happy to hear as well. He shifted closer to Jonathan again, very much in his space, and he couldn't help but reach out and trace his fingertips along the other male's chest for a moment before speaking. "Since I'm the only person you've ever seriously considered stealing hotel shower time with, which counts for a lot, just in case you were wondering. We're both going to need to wash this chlorine off us, right? How about we head back to our room, and I show you just how good I am in the shower?"

Jonathan had tried not to expect too much from this Vegas trip, keep it casual, just enjoy the city, the sun, maybe some poolside drinks and decent sleep but the truth was, ever since the Maldives, Cooper had been on his mind more than he liked to admit. He didn't usually let himself get tangled up in vacation moments, but Cooper wasn't just some fleeting memory. They hadn'r even spent that much time together, but it had stuck. He had stuck. And now here they were, both back in the same space, stretched out side by side in a shaded cabana while the desert heat shimmered just beyond the curtains, and Jonathan felt like the air was charged in a way it hadn't been back in the islands. Cooper was relaxed, perfectly at ease in that way he always seemed to be, bare chest damp from the pool, water still trailing slowly down his skin. He hadn't bothered with a towel, and Jonathan was trying very hard not to watch the way the sun caught each drop as it rolled down. He told himself he wasn't staring. Just… noticing. Except he noticed everything. The way Cooper's body stretched comfortably across the cushion, limbs loose and sun-warmed. The way he looked at him sometimes, quick glances, unreadable, but not dismissive either. Jonathan had picked up on it in the Maldives, but it had all felt a little too fragile to touch then. Now? Now they were sharing a hotel room. Four days, same space, no real reason to pretend the tension between them didn't exist. Jonathan hadn'r brought it up, he wasn't sure how to, but the idea of them coming back to the same room each night stirred something restless in him. He wasn't even sure what he wanted from it, just that he liked the thought of Cooper being nearby. There was a pull there, quiet but insistent and Jonathan wasn't doing much to resist it. He didn't want to take up all of Cooper's time, and he also had friends to see here, but a selfish part of him hoped they'd spend most of these four days exactly like this. Together.

Jonathan had been trying, emphasis on trying, to keep a grip on his composure, but Cooper wasn't exactly making it easy. He could feel the way his body responded when Cooper shifted toward him, that slow, deliberate turn that brought them just a little closer, just enough to feel like the air between them had narrowed too. And then there was that voice, laced with the kind of teasing confidence that made Jonathan want to either roll his eyes or crawl across the cushion. Cooper had said to observe him all he liked, like he didn'r already know that Jonathan was, had been, for the last fifteen minutes. His eyes flicked over Cooper'e mouth as it curled again, that smug little grin that made Jonathan's stomach tighten in all the best ways. But it was the shower comment that nearly made him lose his drink. Jonathan choked on a quiet laugh, low and caught in his throat, and tilted his head to look at Cooper fully now. "The shower, huh?" he said, eyebrows raised, one corner of his mouth tugging upward like he was seriously considering the logistics. "Bold of you to assume I haven't already imagined that exact scenario more than once." He said it like it was a joke, but there was something behind it, truth, maybe, or the fact that he'd definitely let his mind drift there at least a handful of times since the Maldives. He took another slow sip of his drink just to keep his hands occupied, setting the glass down with a quiet clink before leaning back, arm still draped casually behind Cooper. "Might need a live demonstration at some point, just to confirm the hype," he added smoothly, eyes locked on Cooper now, not bothering to pretend anymore. "I'll even bring the soap." His grin turned a little slower then, more genuine, less of a shield. "And for the record," he said, voice lower now, "you're the only person I've ever seriously considered stealing hotel shower time with. That has to count for something.."

You know I'll always make time for you, that's not even a question. And I'm glad that we managed dinner and drinks, because it's been a crazy weekend, and I feel like I've been going nonstop since getting here. But it was good to spend time with you, of course. And I'm still amused that you and Troye are roommates. Hopefully that went well? And I'm sure you two would gossip about me a lot. I know how both of you are when you get near each other.

I already know you're going to make some time for me, right? Because I feel like we've not seen each other in forever since you've been all over Europe for forever.
