IPad Pro Keyboard Cover

Ok, I Finally Got the IPad Pro Keyboard Cover.

I didn’t think I would get the iPad Pro. But I got it and I decided I would try to use it. And I thought I would return it to Apple, but then I got the Apple Pencil. When I got the Apple Pencil, I thought this tablet was pretty cool as this Pencil was almost like a real pencil or pen like the kind you use on paper. But then I thought I would use the iPad Pro Keyboard Cover. But it was really hard to get it. I kept checking Apple’s website to see what Apple stores had it. No luck. I looked at all the stores in New York State and in Massachusetts, and all the stores didn’t have it. And if you purchased it on Apple’s website, you would have to wait 4 to 5 weeks. Then right before Christmas, I checked Apple’s stores on its website and I found one Apple Store in Massachusetts that had it. And since I was traveling up to Massachusetts for Christmas, I thought I would pick it up. So on Christmas Eve i drove to the one Apple Store that had the iPad Pro keyboard cover and picked it up.

Well here I am typing with the iPad Pro Keyboard Cover and I find it to be a very fine keyboard. The key part of it is that it is very responsive. Some keyboards with the IPads don’t work very well. You press the keyboard keys and their is a lag, or as you type, the letters jump around on the different lines.

But this keyboard seems to work pretty well. It seems pretty responsive. I am actually typing in bed and the iPad Pro stays propped up and my keyboard is flat.

I am starting to think that this iPad, the iPad Pro, could be a breakthrough in turning around the momentum for the iPad. It has been languishing in the last year, as the growth of the iPad has been slowing. But I think this iPad Pro could turn things around. It really feels like a computer from the future.

Watch this video. It is pretty remarkable. It is about a 26 your-old kid named George Hotz. This kid may be familiar to you because when he was 17 years old he led the efforts to jailbreak the iPhone and unlock it so you could install apps outside of the Apple App Store and also unlock it to use on carriers other than the carrier that came with the iPhone. ' For years, I and others who jailbroke our iPhones relied on Hotz's efforts. He was amazing. Apple would always patch the holes that allowed Hotz to jailbreak the iPhone and he would always find a new way to unlock it. It was so impressive. So it turns out now he is hacking together his own autonomous driving car. And the big thing is he is using a computer technology called "deep machine" learning. This is a method other than used by Google and Tesla. Deep machine learning, in Hotz's car, allows the computer to watch how you drive and then learn from you how you drive to eventually learn how to drive autonomously. This is amazing. What happens when his deep machine learning pools information from multiple cars using his technology. It will make an even smarter driving car. He says his technology could result in $1,000 kits being installed into cars to make them autonomous. Given his iPhone jail breaking history, I bet he will disrupt Tesla, Google and even Apple and beat them at making a better autonomous car.

First Look At Shure MV88 Microphone for iOS

This is a first look by me of the new Shure MV88 Microphone which has a Lightning connector and plugs into iOS devices like the iPhone 6s and iPad Air 2 and other IOS devices. I picked it up today at the Grand Central Apple Store and tried it out with my iPhone 6s and IPad Air 2. It costs just under $150. It is pretty cool as you can set the settings for this stereo mic in a fee iOS App from Shure. The settings stay in the Mic even if you remove it and plug it into another iOS device. It is about $150 but seems to be a premium Mic. I will write more about it as I use it and check it out and will post more videos.
