Sitting at top the roof of Jujutsu High, the city glowing faintly in the distance. It feels like high school all over again- same place, same stars, same banter. They are older than they were then, a little more tired, but still... them.

Y/n: *laughing softly* "Hard to believe we survived this long."

Gojo: *grinning, looking up at the stars* "Speak for yourself. I was always going to make it. You on the other hand...."

Y/n: *nudges him* "Shut up. You used to fall asleep in class more than anyone.

Gojo: *smirks* "Yeah but I always woke up when you laughed. Couldn't miss that."

Something in his voice is different. Softer. Real.

Y/n: *glancing over* " You're being weird. Nostalgic Gojo is weird."

Gojo: *Shrugs, gaze still lingering in the distance* "Maybe. Or maybe I'm just finally saying things I should've said ten years ago."
