I really really love that Boomerang eene au you posted about around the start of July.

That was one of the first episodes of eene that i watched, and my only complaint is that we didn't get more of it. So seeing you draw it made me very happy :)

I would love it if you would draw them again if its not too much trouble?

May and Sarah becoming "sisters" post character arc

do I have to go through EVERYTHING I imagine makes them better people in the end?... ok..

so like, we all agree May just needs to get away from her sisters right? she is a bully just to survive in her family, and shows the most genuine intrest in her Ed. I think most people in the fandom can imagine her at least forming a friendship with Ed and even Edd, all she really needs in an opportunity to make friends.

now for Sarah. I'm mostly inspired by the background detail in BPS where she runs up to Ed and hugs him.

I like to think Sarah seeing Eddy's brother gave her a self realisation about how she treats Ed and inspired her to do better. it's kinda implied Sarah's behaviour is only because their mum encorages it (she is very young afterall). PERSONALLY I see her feeling very guilty about how she treated Ed especially after seeing Ed be scared of her. teehee.

perhaps May and Sarah can help eachother get their self worth back. Maybe they see themselves in eachother as youngest sisters who took out their feelings the wrong way. May sees Sarah as a "little sister" she can treat the way she wanted to be treated herself, Sarah can see May as proof that bullies can become better.

also. I like MLP style slight design changes to indicate character arc. hehe

So Clarabelle's uncle is an archaeologist, judging by the words in the comic about Aunt Nena? Could it be that Clarabelle knows a little about archaeology? Not an expert, but knows something? I don't know, though, at what point in her conversations with her friends this could become clear, but... Why not?

(Or at least Clarabelle might have mentioned it to Max? I remember you drawing their interactions, so that's what I assumed.)

so the Kankers don't do what normal changelings do and disguis as peoples loved ones, they just turn into who they guess is the boys type? I thought it'd be hilarious if these kids were so mean to eachother on the regular that becoming them doesn't feed them love at all lol.

I guess that's why they are in their "good" changeling designs lmao

ok lets talk because I put too much thought into dumb things...

the Eds eye colours are the colours of their rooms, I thought that would be cool.

Ed would be happy to be a dragon, but he can't fly (not because his wings are tiny, he just can't coordinate them)

Edd is a unicorn because despite trying, I couldn't find another species that really fit, I'm sure people would have liked him as a deer but I didn't. his cutiemark is a magnifying glass and a bug because just the magnifying glass was booring.

Eddy's a griffin because he's greedy lol. but also he gives me cat energy and I thought it was funny that he hates birds. his bird half is a pink cockatoo cuz they lowkey look like Eddy lmao, but they're also smart, crafty and very loud.

the rest of the culdesac kids species are based of vibes, I woulda made Kevin a pegasus but griffin made him work better as basically Eddy's rival, I nearly made the cat half a Cheetah but the spots didn't suit him. Jonny was nearly a pony too. I was gonna make Rolf a Yak but I hear people find them iffy plus he wouldn't look like "stretch"

the Kankers were a tossup between Changelings and Sirens, I decided Changelings because the Sirens in mlp don't look design friendly, also the kankers don't exactly sing, also even though they more accurately feed on misery, they themselves are more into "feeding on love". I know changelings look like their old designs when they feed on love but I didn't want them to look the same! they look like the good versions because they're just kids or because their desire to feed on love is fake or smth... their eyes are pink cuz of their matching belt...

the downside is I only got to design one cutiemark 😭😢

I was watching some later season episodes of Ed, Edd n Eddy since I don't remember them (now that I look at it, I think some later season episodes did air here, so maybe they just didn't ingrain themselves into my memory because they didn't get replayed as much as the old ones...?) and wow, Nazz is smart! Her highest scores are in Math and Cheerleading (my first thought was she must like calculating the angle of things and must have good spatial reasoning) ... but her lowest is Cooking (D xD;;;), and she gets Cs in Art and English... her Science score is also very nice, a B! Overall pretty average a student, but definitely better at the sciences and just scraping by in the humanities... ^^;;;;;

The B+ in History is interesting though! Just worked really hard at it or do you think she finds it genuinely interesting?

... Kevin's making straight Cs with like two Bs, but the one D and his comment makes it sound like he's working hard to get to C, and his dad's supportive at least! That's nice. ;3;

Uuunfortunately, Rolf's family seems the sort to punish bad grades... (also, seriously, why is he taking Typing classes on a typewriter?! xD; Is everyone doing that or are the other students on computers and confused Rolf is bringing this ancient typewriter?! It's a funny gag either way.)
