❝ ✗ ; ——— just because he was vacant emotionally did not mean haru did not have NEEDS that required fulfillment. another night spent at the bar meant another stranger he would be going home with. it had become a ritual, biology churning its cogs within his body. most of his excursions were quick, LUSTFUL pieces of intimacy that faded as fast as they happened. he has never occupied someone else’s bed for longer than a few hours at a time and it was usually only once ( twice if he took a subtle liking to them ).

tonight was no different. following a bright eyed boy out of the club, lithe digits curled around the tips of the other’s as not to lose him —— the lingering vibe amongst the two had an electric vibe. he was different, but haru couldn’t quite place why. ❛ a hotel? ❜ the detective found one of his brows arching subtly upwards. ❛ is there where you live? seems.. ❜ the slightly shorter male trailed off, leaning in towards his partner’s ear as they walk. ❛ cozy ❜ .

❛ —— cozy ? ❜ kyo - kai’s wore a subtle sheet of amusement within his dark optics & this only increased as he met the other’s gaze. they stay locked upon haru’s momentarily before trailing upward - settling upon the highest floor of the hotel, a smirk became evident at this point, ❛ yeah. very. ❜ a hand find’s the opposite’s shoulder as he directed him towards the entrance, not wanting to waste anymore time on unnecessary small talk - it seems kai has noticed that enigmatic vibe the two carried between them & he doesn’t want this to disappear before they could actually get to doing anything.

as he enters the building, a passing nod is directed towards the receptionist who nods in a sweet manner at the model, seemingly ignoring the smaller that followed behind him. with the elevator in sight, the male turns to ensure haru was still tailing. ------- he was, ❛ the lobby is pretty right. ? ❜
