Still 2gether

Plot: As Tine and Sarawat enter the second year of their relationship full of love and warmth for each other, they also begin to take on bigger responsibilities in the university with the former as the new president of the cheerleading club while the latter as the new president of the music club. With both clubs moving into adjacent rooms, this causes them to compete with each other during practice sessions. The growing quarrel between these clubs, which has already involved their friends, will challenge Tine and Sarawat's relationship

My Feeling: This felt like a massive apology. The show runners realized they had robbed us of sweet moments between Tine and Sarawat in 2gether and wanted to make amends. This isn't really a second season it's only 5 episodes. But it is fun and cute. We get to see Tine and Sarawat in a much more mature relationship. I enjoyed that the drama wasn't about Tine and Sarawat breaking up. So many second seasons break up the couple for a while. This is cute and sweet. Phukong and P'Mil get a proper ended. We get to see more or Man and P'Type and even Boss has some romance. I would recommend this to anyone who just wants to watch something sweet. There are some tender moments between the male leads and I love it. If you were disappointed in how 2gether ended then watch this.

2gether

Plot: A student named Tine wants to get rid of an unwanted admirer so his friends recommend getting a pretend boyfriend. Though reluctant at first, Sarawat finally agrees and the two become close despite their relationship not being real.

My Feeling: I love this show. OMG I love this show. I have watched it multiple times. I have written close to 30 fanfics based off it. Look I'll be honest. It's your basic love story. There is nothing that special about it. Except Win and Bright sell it to you. They make you believe they are in love. The ending of this show sucks but it is redeemed by Still 2gether. It has good side characters thou a lost opportunity for lesbians. I would recommend this to anyone who likes Thai drama's or BL. It really is a sweet story and it would be a shame if you missed it.

Love in The Air

Plot: When clouds in the sky and falling rain tease the two close friends in trouble, Rain and Sky, it takes them to meet Payu and Prapai, who are not only cunning saviours but also guys making storms in the two best friends' hearts. The war of love is about to take place in the warm spring, hot summer, lonely autumn and cold winter. How would the atmosphere of love be? Which way would their hearts wave and the air full of love take them to? 

My Feelings: I saw some MV’s of this show and it looked good.  I was sad at first because I thought Sky and Prapai were side characters and they were what interested me.  The show is basically cut in half.  The first half follows Rain and Payu and the second half follows Sky and Prapai.  I was not a big fan of Rain or his story so the first half wasn’t very interesting to me.  Sky on the other hand is a very interesting character.  I enjoyed the second half of the show much more.

The show is a bit ridiculous but it is also good fun.  There is mentions of abuse and SA so be prepared for that.  I loved Sky and Prapai’s story line.  I was very happy with their ending.  All in all a fun watch for easy viewing.  Warning this is another show with sex scenes.  No genitalia is shown but sex is simulated.

KinnPorsche

Plot:  Kinn, the second son of a Mafia boss, is being hunted by enemies when he's rescued by Porsche, a student working part-time at a pub. Kinn offers Porsche a job as his personal bodyguard, leading to a dangerous love.

My Feelings: I wanted to love this.  I had seen stuff all over the internet about it about it was just okay to me.  I think it was an interesting idea but OMG it is soft core porn.  I did not need to see characters having sex.  I hated the Vegas Pete story line.  I will say the actor who plays Porsche is a joy to watch.  He commits to everything he does.  To be honest I almost didn’t make it through the first 2 episodes but I pushed through to the third and enjoyed myself.  I had fun watching the show.  I laughed a lot.  But I won’t watch it again.  Also I know this is mean but I hate Chay.  He is so annoying.  I would say this show is okay but is mainly a skip to me.

Theory of Love

Plot: Third has been secretly in love with his best friend Khai for years. For three years he has kept his secret love in his heart, silently supporting and loving Khai while knowing there is absolutely no future between them since Khai is as straight and also an absolute player. To make matters worse, Khai has a "no dating friends" policy.  How long can Third love Khai silently while watching Khai bring a different girl home every night? Third has tried to see Khai as just a friend.  But has failed time and time again. Because as easy as it is to fall in love, to stop is just as hard.  Maybe even harder.  That is until Third learns a secret that breaks his heart completely.  But when Third decides to stop being in love, Khai decides to start.

My Feelings: This show is very cute.  It has a great cast.  I enjoyed the ganster group.  Two may have been my favorite.  There are some great moments between the two leads.  The layers of deception and who know what was very interesting.  There is some over acting and moments I felt the characters went over board in there actions.  I enjoyed watching Khaii change to be a better person/partner.  Over all a good story and a lot of fun.

Cars

Plot: In a world populated by anthropomorphic talking vehicles, the final race of the Piston Cup season ends in a three-way tie. The tiebreaker race is scheduled for one week later at the Los Angeles International Speedway. Eager to get to California as soon as possible, Lightning McQueen pushes his big rig, Mack, to travel all night long. While Lightning is sleeping, Mack drifts off, but Lightning falls out the back of the trailer and onto the road. Lightning wakes up in the middle of traffic and speeds off the highway in search of Mack, but instead ends up in the rundown town of Radiator Springs, where he loses control and accidentally damages the pavement of the main road.  Lightning is given community service to repave the road.

My Feelings: I hate to admit it but I got bored during this film.  I felt the pace was to slow.  Not that doesn’t mean it’s not an interesting film.  The plot it’s self is good.  I just feel they could have conveyed the story better.  At the end I was cheering with everything one else.  This film was just okay to me.

Ant Man

Plot: Forced out of his own company by former protégé Darren Cross, Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) recruits the talents of Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), a master thief just released from prison. Lang becomes Ant-Man, trained by Pym and armed with a suit that allows him to shrink in size, possess superhuman strength and control an army of ants. The miniature hero must use his new skills to prevent Cross, also known as Yellowjacket, from perfecting the same technology and using it as a weapon for evil.

My Feelings: I’m a fan of Paul Rudd so this film was a must watch for me.  I was not disappointed.  It’s a fun sarcastic film.  I do think the humor is hit or miss.  It worked for me but it might not for others.  The place I felt the film failed is with the character of Cross.  He wasn’t fleshed out for me enough to really understand.  But the action is great and the characters are fun.

Jumanji: Welcome to The Jungle

Plot: Four high school kids discover an old video game console and are drawn into the game's jungle setting, literally becoming the adult avatars they chose. What they discover is that you don't just play Jumanji - you must survive it. To beat the game and return to the real world, they'll have to go on the most dangerous adventure of their lives, discover what Alan Parrish left 20 years ago, and change the way they think about themselves - or they'll be stuck in the game forever.

My feelings: It’s fun.  It’s not the best movie in the world but I laughed and got into the plot.  I think watching the adult actors act like teenagers was great.  Jack Black was wonderful.  As was the rest of the cast.  I love the nod to the original with Alan Parrish’s character.  I would 100% recommend this to action comedy fans.

The Stranded

Plot: When a tsunami strands dozens of teens on an island at their private school, they soon realize no rescuers are coming and they must save themselves.

My Feelings: I really enjoyed this series.  They pack a lot into 7 episodes.  I was disappointed they didn’t feature Jack and Krit more as they were the reason I decided to watch the show.  There are a lot of cool characters and some assholes. It’s the kind of show you binge watch because you can’t stop watching. I will warn that this show can be confusing. Also Netflix dubbed in instead of doing subtitles.  There are a lot of things going on in this show.  The cliffhanger has me hooked and waiting for season 2.

edit: it's been a few years and no second season had come. the lead actor did die so they might have scrapped the show.

Good Omens

Plot: This fantasy series sees fussy angel Aziraphale and loose-living demon Crowley team up to form an unlikely duo. The two have become overly fond of life on Earth, and they are forced into forming an alliance in an attempt to stop the approaching Armageddon. To do that, they have to find the missing Antichrist, an 11-year-old boy who is unaware that he is meant to bring the end of days upon humanity.

My Feelings: I thought it was okay.  I wish I could rave about it but I can’t.  I found myself getting bored sometimes.  It also deviated from the book in ways I’m not overly fond of.  I liked the cast and felt the show flowed well for the most part.  The final battle between the four horsemen and the kids felt lame to me. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is a fans of fantasy.

Signal

Plot: A cold-case profiler in 2015 and a detective in 1989 work together to solve a series of related murders spanning three decades using a special walkie-talkie to communicate with each other.

My Feelings: It’s just okay.  Nothing about it wowed me but on the other hand nothing about it was terrible.  It has good actors.  Especially the female lead.  She played the same character at two different ages very convincingly.  My main problems with it are 1 they didn’t flesh out the side characters in fact they under utilized them and 2 I never believed the friendship between the male leads.  It again felt under developed. I also wasn’t a fan of the open ending. Still it was enjoyable and had me wringing my hands a few times.

Chicago Typewriter

Plot: Three people living during the Japanese occupation of Korea in the 1930s are reincarnated in present day.

My Feelings: I built this drama up in my head before watching it and it was a let down.  It’s a good show it’s just not as amazing as I hoped it would be.  For one there are way to many plot lines.  All the drama between the lead and his adopted family felt unnecessary.  There were also several over the top villains that made me laugh.  The most interesting part of the drama was the past life.  I could have watched a whole drama just about that.  There are several scenes that broke my heart.  All in all I enjoyed this drama.  It was a fun story that was acted very well. It was so close to being amazing.  I would still recommend it if only for the past life sections.

Prison Playbook/Wise Prison Life

Plot: With only days before his major league baseball debut, pitcher Kim Je-hyeok unexpectedly lands himself behind bars. He must learn to navigate his new world with its own rules if he wants to survive.

My Feelings: I would defiantly call this a drama comedy.  It’s very dark at times but still very funny.  I had a lot of expectations with this one and they were met. It has fun engaging characters.  An interesting plot that balances it’s darkness well.  It’s one let down to me is that several characters simply disappear.  I would recommend this to anyone who likes shows about friendship.

I will warn for homophobia.  There is one queer main character and they get a bad ending.

The Spy Who Dumped Me

Plot: Best friends Audrey and Morgan are going about their humdrum lives in Los Angeles -- until Audrey's ex-boyfriend suddenly shows up with a team of deadly assassins on his trail. Unexpectedly thrust into an international conspiracy, the gals soon find themselves dodging killers and a suspicious British agent while hatching a plan to save the world.

My Feelings: It’s a lot funnier then I thought it would be.  It does have some gross humor which I didn’t appreciate.  It has a good cast and is well acted.  The action scenes are really good.  I enjoyed the friendship between the two female leads.  I don’t know if the romance was needed but it was cute.  This film is good for when you need a simple laugh.  It’s not very complicated.  I did enjoy it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a female driven action film.

Brittany Runs A Marathon

Plot: A hard-partying woman receives a startling wake-up call when a visit to the doctor reveals how unhealthy she is. Motivated to lose weight, she soon takes up running to help her prepare for her ultimate goal of competing in the New York City Marathon.

My Feelings: I didn’t intend to see this film but the film I wanted to go to was sold out.  It’s not something I would have picked to watch but I actually enjoyed myself.  What makes this film work is that it is less about weight loss and more about taking control of your life.  It’s well acted and the music fits it really well.  The characters are interesting and flawed.  I did cringe a lot at the main characters behavior.  While i did enjoy this film I definitely won’t be watching it again.  It was a fun watch but it left a lot to be desired.  There were plot gaps in my opinion.  If you want a funny slightly cringy film then this is for you.
