omg imagine a pacific rim twojamie au where jamie is the raleigh-type character whose drift-compatible partner was jimmy. and ever since jimmy died he's been really traumatized and unable to fight so he spends time in the science lab with zoe and the doctor, and ends up helping them study the kaiju. and then inevitably when everything goes to shit the doctor and jamie are forced to drift together to figure out a solution to the kaiju and it ends up being the easiest thing jamie's ever done bc he and the doctor are the most drift-compatible pairing to ever exist.

like imagine the doctor trying to drift with a kaiju all by himself and nearly dying. jamie being so worried and protective of him and not allowing him to do it again, not without him too. jamie struggling with drifting again because of his trauma but the doctor making it easier for him by just being himself and them touching each other/holding hands while drifting.... AUGH

URGENT - Help get a disabled trans man get out of an abusive household

My boyfriend is stuck in a highly abusive home. He's 26 years old and his parents are threatening guardianship. Their parents control their food to the point of starving him, won't allow him privacy or alone time, misgender him and prevent him from transitioning, make fun of him, simultaneously threaten guardianship and threaten to disown him or kick him out, control his money and yell at him if he spends $10, ignore his health issues and call him lazy, deny him dental care, and say he's emotionally 16 and using that to justify their abuse/control. Tomorrow is his best chance to get out of the house and we're trying to raise funds for a taxi/plane ticket/hotel room for him. If you have anything to spare, his paypal's below.
