Actually haven’t heard that one. It’s just strange because it was always known that circumcision PROTECTS the circumcised man and not the opposite, since the diseases can be spread through seminal fluids. Furthermore circumcision was once a perk for people born in hospitals, to which black people often hadn’t access to. That’s why the circumcision rate of black males only caught up the rate of white males in the 90′s.

There’s also RACISM and body shaming attached to circumcision, at least in the states:

Nope, that’s an intactivist urban legend. It WAS started for medical reasons to prevent infections.

Circumcision was made popular in American culture. It's kinda only done in America and the jewish community.. Alot of other cultures think it's weird that like 50% of Americans are circumcised for no religious purpose.
