sucks so bad when a character you love is heavily infantilized. that is a grown man he knows what a cigarette is. intimately
#luffy being written like he's 8 years old#man is 19 and even at his 17 he's emotionally more mature than good portion of adult cast#but no! he's got a whimsical and all-over-the-place and straightforward kinda personality. being a literal child be upon ye#there was a rant somewhere how it also reeks a bit of ableism because luffy is clocked as neurodivergent (mostly audhd) by many fans#and then infantilized to the hell and back for the exact things that contribute to the headcanons#and it isn't really about sex and slapping an aroace hc at him specifically because of uwu how can luffy know what sex is#it's more about the way it becomes even. he doesn't have lots of academic knowledge and honestly isn't THAT streetwise too#but he got people knowledge on point and that's what suffers the most in this parade of uwufication

okay the biggest problem isn't even the ctrl+z situation, it's the lack of canvas flip and CSP's warp tool. i rely a lot on warping my sketches before inking.. .
i miss drawing traditionally as much as i used to. sorted my old school drawings into a massive binder, and oh dear. the sheer amount of things.
