Rosy Book Flowers
I used gold ink to highlight some of the petals for these roses. The rest is just a few book paper roses bunched together with flowers made from notebook paper (a pretty pretty notebook it was).
Touches of vellum, a few wires to hold it all together and a small $2 Ikea vase. Simple.

Waves
This is a close-up of my paper light decoration, which I created by gluing hundreds of coffee filters and LED string lights onto a blank canvas. It can be mounted on a wall and when turned on, it casts a soft light. Nothing to read a book by, but pretty lovely to brighten up a dull corner.

Geometric
Found ages ago in a magazine, then revisited on Martha Stewart's website, I have used this design to create several tree ornaments and semi-transparent vellum lamps illuminated with little LED light strings.

Pure Pearl
You can lose yourself in the folds of paper flowers. Easy to make, lovely to behold. The petals come in two to three shapes and are then repeated in three to five different sizes.
Start building your flower around a circle, starting with the biggest petals first and work your way to the center, finishing with a pearl.
Or do it the other way around - start with the pearl (attached to a thick wire or a stick) and glue your petals around it. This works best for flowers in a vase.

This series of sea life art was created using a blank canvas, white paper and glue. I was inspired by coral reef colonies, marine life textures and patterns.

Book paper flowers in a hand-knit blue vase
I used a few pages of one of my well-loved books to create the roses. The other flowers were made from designer paper, pearl beads, ink, colorful accents, and so on.
