My thoughts on Juanita, is that her photography is amazing, and just so quite yet loud in the meaing behind them. She seems to be very passionate about her work and is very successful.

Martin Chambi Jimenez a photographer, originally from southern Peru. He was one of the first major indigenous Latin American photographers. Martin Chambi was born into a Quechua-speaking peasant family in one of the poorest regions of Peru, at the end of the nineteenth century. ... During his career, Chamni also travelled the Andes extensively, photographing the landscapes, Inca ruins, and local people.

I think the greatness of Martin’s photographic work is found in the warmth of his photographs, the way he framed his images, his artistic motivations, and especially his use of light and its evocative power to communicate with ‘his’ people.

Sergio Larraín Echeñique was a Chilean photographer. He was a member of Magnum Photos during the 1960s. He is considered the most important Chilean photographer in history, making street photography, often of street children, using "shadow and angles in a way few had tried before."

I see Sergio as a person who likes to tell a story within his picture, and a person who is very passionate about this photography, i really enjoy his photography in the way it is composed and portrayed.

Graciela Iturbide was born in 1942 in Mexico City. Graciela Iturbide is a Mexican photographer. Her work has been exhibited internationally, and is included in many major museum collections such as the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and The J. Paul Getty Museum. For Iturbide, the camera is just a pretext for knowing the world. Her interest, she says, lies in what her eyes see and what her heart feels—what moves her and touches her. Although she has produced studies of landscapes and culture in India, Italy, and the Unites States, her principal concern has been the exploration and investigation of Mexico—her own cultural environment—through black-and-white photographs of landscapes and their inhabitants, abstract compositions, and self-portraits.
My impression of this artist is, she is an amazing and very talented person who captures her cultures that she has as a individual. As a person who shares ties with mexico i can say, that her art shows the ugly and the beauty of mexico.
