Lost In Space, Season 1-2 Timeline

I’m definitely professing my LiS nerd-dom here, but this is the timeline I’ve drawn up. I plan to add season three in the future, so stay tuned! I’d also welcome constructive criticism for any glaring errors (not season 3 related, as I haven’t finished yet)

Apr 14 The Robinson family; John, Maureen, and their three children; Judy, 18, Penny, 15, and 11-year-old Will depart Earth on the Resolute for their new home on Alpha Centauri. The estimated arrival date is May 26, 2048.

May 10 The Resolute is attacked by alien robots on day 27 of their journey. An evacuation order is given and colonists flee aboard their Jupiter spacecrafts. The Robinson family, among others, crash-lands on an uncharted planet. Events of episode 1x1 “Impact” Judy becomes trapped in the ice, John and Will find magnesium in efforts to save her, Will meets the Robot, who then saves both him and later, Judy. Judy talks Penny through a procedure on their mother’s broken leg.

May 11 Events of episode 1x2 “Diamonds in the Sky” Judy and Penny are tasked with slowly melting the Jupiter out of the ice while their parents and Will are out exploring another crashed Jupiter. Penny notices a storm approaching and in a moment of panic, breaks the Jupiter free, grabs a Chariot and saves her parents and brother, and then they also rescue Dr. Smith.

May 12 Events of episode 1x3 “Infestation” The Robinson family realizes their fuel isn’t leaking - it is being eaten by eels.

May 13 Events of episode 1x4 “Meet the Robinsons” Will, terrified after learning what his beloved robot friend did on the Resolute, decides to hide him in a cave. His sisters find out and tag along. Meanwhile, their parents are stranded when heading to collect supplies from a crashed section of the Resolute.

May 14 Events of episode 1x4 “Meet the Robinsons” After spending the night in a cave and under a satellite dish, the Robinson family reunites with each other.

May 15 Events of episode 1x5 “Transmission”. John and his children help the other colonists build a light tower to signal the Resolute. Maureen investigates her suspicions about the planet’s sun. The next episode (1x6) picks up just before day’s end as John and Maureen talk about the black hole Maureen found.

May 16 Events of episode 1x6 “Eulogy” Judy, Don, and Aiko leave with others to salvage fuel from the Jupiter 18.

May 17 (Morning and early afternoon) Events of episode 1x7 “Pressurized” Judy, Don, and Aiko return.

(Late afternoon) The next episode picks up as John and Maureen are walking away from the tar pits and towards the Dhar Jupiter.

May 18 Events of episode 1x8 “Trajectory” The Jupiter 4 with John and Don aboard explodes this evening.

May 19 Events of episode 1x9 “Ressurection” and 1x10 “Danger, Will Robinson”

May 23 The Jupiter 2 has a rough landing, but manages to settle on a tiny strip of land on a new planet in the Danger system.

May 26 This marks the day the Robinsons were expecting to arrive on Alpha Centauri.

Jun 8 The Robinsons witness the 23-day-cycle storm for the 1st time. 

Jul 1 The Robinsons witness the 23-day-cycle storm for the 2nd time.

Jul 24 The Robinsons witness the 23-day-cycle storm for the 3rd time.

Aug 16 The Robinsons witness the 23-day-cycle storm for the 4th time.

Sep 8 The Robinsons witness the 23-day-cycle storm for the 5th time.

Oct 1 The Robinsons witness the 23-day-cycle storm for the 6th time.

Oct 24 The Robinsons witness the 23-day-cycle storm for the 7th time.

Nov 9 The Robinsons witness the 23-day-cycle storm for the 8th time.

Dec 2 The Robinsons witness the 23-day-cycle storm for the 9th time.

Dec 25 Events of episode 2x1 “Shipwrecked” The Robinsons witness the 23-day-cycle storm for the 10th time.

Dec 26 Events of episode 2x1 “Shipwrecked”

Dec 27 Events of episode 2x1 “Shipwrecked” The Robinsons, along with Don West, decide it is time to make an effort to leave and find their way to Alpha Centauri once again.

Jan 16 Events of episode 2x1 “Shipwrecked” After over two weeks of preparations, the Robinson family and their crew sets sail for the center of the 23-day-cycle storm.

Jan 17 Events of episode 2x1 “Shipwrecked” and 2x2 “Precipice” The Robinsons find their Jupiter trapped on the edge of a cliff. Penny in a desperate bid to save Don, ends up knocked in the water and she and Maureen fall over the edge of a waterfall. 

Jan 18 Events of 2x3 “Echoes.” After boarding the Resolute, the Robinsons realize something is very wrong.

Jan 19 Events of 2x4 “Scarecrow” and 2x5 “Run” John and Judy head down to the Amber Planet, where John falls in a well and is seriously injured.

Jan 20 Events of 2x5 “Run” and 2x6 “Severed”. Maureen and Will head to the planet to search for the Robot. Penny heads to class which leads to a series of events that culminates in her flying through space in a storage container. Judy and John return from the Amber Planet and reunite with Penny.

Jan 21 Events of 2x7 “Evolution” 2x8 “Unknown” 2x9 “Shell Game” and 2x10 “Ninety-Seven” AM: Will and Maureen return from the planet and reunite with their family, the Robinsons stage a mutiny. Lunchtime: Maureen and John find themselves trapped in maintenance pods. The kids hide the Robot. PM: The aliens attack, the Robinsons come up with a plan. Judy takes the rest of the children on a transport headed to Alpha Centauri. John, Maureen, Don, and the rest of the adults stay to fight the aliens and protect the Resolute.

Jan 5 349 days later, season 3 picks up. Timeline to be continued!

Robinsons stick together! This quarantine is making me wonder if it's similar to how the Robinson family felt marooned on the water planet for 7 months and could barely leave the Jupiter.
