[[ACTIVITY UPDATE.

One, and the biggest load off my mind, my dog is cancer-free. The lump on his side was a very abnormally hard fat lump. He will be eating poop and destroying toilet paper rolls for many years to come.

Two, we have caught the rabbit that someone released in our neighborhood - and going by how much he’s grown since the first sighting, he was released as a baby and is still under a year old.. He looks to be a lionhead/english spot mix, he’s very sweet and trusting and honestly not that smart. So we’ve taken to calling him Pippin.

Three, I’ve had sleeping problems that are only starting to correct themselves. I am thoroughly exhausted and I am going to go watch some funny videos now.]]

* papayrus would scour the attic, looking for pictures or some type of proof that it wasnt just him and sans. he looks through boxes and trunks, under clothes, anything* i just... i just want to know..

Long and hard the skeleton would have to search; through dusty boxes, some with contents that looked more recently disturbed. 

If he searched long and hard enough, Papyrus would come across a certain box hidden far in the back of the attic. Inside would be several journals - words scrawled almost illegibly across their pages - an old dress coat, several trinkets and...a photo album.

The first page of this album would hold several pictures of a young, well dressed skeleton and a goat monster with a tuft of blonde hair on his head.

[The entity tries and almost fails to conceal a laugh - he smiles gently, leaning down to inspect the jacks. He remembers this game.]

[The entity’s eye flashes green, the ball hopping out of Asriel’s hand to bounce on the ground. With another flash several of the jacks are swept up and held in the air - he dare not touch them, as his touch would destabilize the Prince’s toys.]

[A brow quirks at the young Prince]

While of course their voice and appearance alone will have to get some getting used to, Asriel was excited about this nonetheless. So the guy liked puzzles, huh? He’ll definitely have to remember that. Who knows, maybe he’ll find a couple back home.

Taking a step back, Asriel drops the tacks before setting aside the larger ball. Leaving him with the much smaller one. Holding it up to Gaster, he tries to explain the game.

* It’s called jacks! All ya gotta do is–..

Upon realization, he got a glimpse at the other’s hand, looking over at it for a moment longer before fiddling with the small ball.

* Uh..I mean I..

He went from being so confident in this game to completely nervous and bashful.

* You..drop the ball and pick up as much of the jacks as you can real fast and..then catch the ball after the second bounce..

Do you know what I find highly enjoyable, Doctor? It's watching that demon child cut down your obnoxious, annoying, PATHETIC excuse for a son. Poor naive, little Papyrus. Heh. He truly believed they could still change and be a better person if they tried. What an idiot. The look on his face when his heart shatters is satisfying.
