For many people, the vaporwave or synthwave aesthetic represents nostalgia for a place or a time that isn’t literally real. But for me, it is. Those days are over. There is no way to condense so much memory into one post. Places, family, friends, experiences. I’ve moved on to the land of copper. It’s in our bullet jackets, our mines, our sunsets, and our flag. But a part of me will forever be neon and palm trees and sunset.
