A tribute to Giovanni Michelotti. born in Turin, Italy, author among many others important BMW and Triumph modells in the 60s. This project is a modern interpretation of the 1968 BMW E9 series but in fact, it focuses on two models: Michelotti's E9 and its predecessor, the 1965 BMW 2000 CS (E120 series). Interactive Mirrors Built from Arrays of Moving Objects by Daniel Rozin
New York-based artist Daniel Rozin creates amazing installations and sculptures that have the ability respond to the presence of a viewer. Among his best known works are an ongoing series of interactive mirrors built from complex arrays of moving objects including wooden pegs, circular bands of laminated rings, plastic spokes and even pieces of discarded trash. Using custom software and video sensors Rozin has the sculptures react in real-time to create a live visual representation of a viewer’s likeness.

"Soft-drink giant Coca-Cola has unveiled a new packaging design for its cans that changes based on the temperature. The 16-oz can features a white contoured glass on the front; when the coke can is chilled to 48-degrees Fahrenheit, three blue cubes would appear inside the glass. Interactive graphics elements such as these do make drinking from a can more fun"

Inside the Hot Wheels Design Studio
"Being a toy car designer is quite different from working as an automotive designer in a car company or an OEM supplier. While these cars will never turn to actual production, working on these iconic die-cast models pushes the designers’ creativity to the limits and allows them to create many different vehicles in a short amount of time."

"In Tokyo, The Sunshine Aquarium can be difficult to locate, especially with several distractions visitors might meet with along the way. In a brilliant move that combines human instinct with new technology, HAKUHODO Tokyo designed an augmented reality app with AR experts Junaio that features GPS penguins that lead users to the aquarium. With the use of motion captured technology, adorable, waddling penguins can lead the way to the aquarium—users only need to follow their movements on their mobile phones. The GPS penguins walk exactly like real penguins, making for an entertaining journey filled with smiles. - See more at: http://designtaxi.com/news/361172/In-Tokyo-Adorable-GPS-Penguins-Guide-Visitors-To-Aquarium/ "

"The Lego calendar is a wall mounted time planner that we invented for our studio. It’s made entirely of Lego, but if you take a photo of it with a smartphone all of the events and timings will be magically synchronised to an online, digital calendar. It makes the most of the tangibility of physical objects, and the ubiquity of digital platforms, and it’s also puts a smile on our faces when we use it!"
