         He sneaks in, it's stupid and he knows. However he does not want to wake anyone up. Especially the little ones. So, he was quiet, just like he would be on a job and he sneaks to where he knew she'd be. Kaid ached, and he was exhausted, but he wanted — no needed to see her. Because Roxanne was always the one who made him feel better. So, he crawls into her room, and onto the footside of her bed and just curls up. Sure, it was kind of strange, but right now he didn't care. He just wanted to feel safe.

I have these two muses, and they were 'twins' and basically what they were was clones of serial killers based off of a novel i read  and literally they'd probably worship Gen like 'yes master teach me ur ways' and idk, i kind of miss them. They were two of my faves

You aren't as great as Roxanne or Gen or even Clint.

           There is truth in these words. Kaid isn’t nor ever will be as amazing as them.                      But technically they aren’t like him either. okay but a!u with baby kaid and roxanne discovers his little abandoned basket and let's say at first she doesn't exactly want him, but she likes looking at mortal babies and she's at a loss of what to do and she knows he's alone and contemplates leaving him and then maybe he grabs her face or he smiles or stops crying when she holds him so she's just like 'you are mine' and yeah she raises him, and for the longest time he believes he's just like his mama, a god or something but alas    he's only a mutant who she stole or maybe he even stole her idk i have a lot of roxanne/kaid feelings

   ”They aren’t ‘current’ because I’d never get rid of them. I’d do anything for them. There’s Roxanne, Tracy, Wren, Gen, Will, Gabriel and Gwen. They’re my family. I love them.”

Actually now that I think about it Kaid never had a father figure, and the only CLOSEST thing probably would've been clint, but then again even that is pushing it. So kaid could have daddy issues

Are Kaid's surrogate parents Roxanne and Gen?

   Aw, no my dearest. Actually it’s only Roxanne who is a surrogate mother to Kaid and Gen is just a friend to Kaid. Though I guess I can see where the confusion might be in some of their interactions like the one now.
