Under this are some memories just ignore them if you want I just needed a place to let it out.

I don’t remember your name or your face but I remember you, the way you looked after me, the way you held me. Those long nights I would spend without you, my whole body longing to be by your side. I remember the stars that night, they were so bright. And you, sitting there, holding me close as we watched the flames dance. I miss that. Do you remember that awful night, I came stumbling in, dripping blood, with self-inflicted wounds from less than an hour before. That night was the worst. I was so afraid, afraid of what you’d do if I drifted off and left you like that. You wanted to take me to the hospital, but I was afraid, afraid of what my father would say if he found out. Found out about what I’d done, found out about you. So you held me. You just held me, you did everything you knew how, and I stayed with you. I didn’t leave you that night. It was a few years later, three, to be exact. I hadn’t had much contact with you for a few weeks, you’d heard about the deaths, the murders, you feared for my life. That was when you called me, and I picked up, I was crying then, I knew what would happen later that night. He’d finally do it, he’d been testing it on himself for so long, and he finally thought he’d gotten it right. He wanted to remove my ability to feel fear. That’s when the police busted in, shouting, we made it out the back door, all the way over to the scarecrow, when they were about to shoot. He injected me with the serum, too much, way too much. My entire body convulsed and I saw the most horrific things. I didn’t know it at the time, but he walked out to them and they shot him. I’m thankful now, because who knows what would have happened next, but something also tells me I should be sad and mourn him. I don’t know what happened after that, my last memories are hallucinations clawing at me strapped to a hospital bed. I want to remember what happened to you. I want to remember whether you stuck with me. I miss you.
