Nothing exciting but I did do something! I had already gone 4 days without a workout when the doctor told me yesterday no lifting for 9 days, and preferably no running for two. Preferably!! That to me meant, "do a metcon that minimally requires your arm, run a little over two miles, and then do romwod". 🙃 Most people would hear that they had a good excuse not to workout for 9 days and be excited... unfortunately I am not at all that person. I'm dying like "put me in coach put me in!!" 😂😂 but I am being careful of the arm. Took me about 50 tries before I could comfortably (and safely) do double unders, and then some sit ups and one handed KB squat snatches. My doctor and my mother are really far more worried than I am. I'm a fast healer, I'll be fine! (The bandages and gauze are still there, just took the ace off) 😬👌🏻

2nd place? I'll take it! 🙈🏅 jumped in on a competition about 10 days before it was supposed to happen, wasn't totally sure how I would do but luckily my coaches at Crossfit Cochise made sure I was prepped and ready to go! I'm really blessed to have had so many people both from my gym and from work to come out and cheer me on and support me ❤️ it definitely worked and I'm excited to have made the podium!! #hardworkwork #riseandgrind #ThunderMountainThrowdown (at Veterans Memorial Park)
