This is the most fun he's had in years. He can terrorize a few campers. As a treat
You know that either a child of Dionysus or the god himself is going to be director of the Epic performance.
bold of you to assume that anyone but the god of theater is going to let anyone else but him direct this crack production

Not them pulling out never before seen, seemingly legit sources out of nowhere for a YouTube video.
The scholars are seething.
I know you said Red and Blue would be demigods children of Apollo and Athena, but consider- Clio.

PJO!Apollo: Well, I mean, the first two times weren't That bad...
Disney Zeus, close to crying: WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE FIRST TWO?!?!
Now you鈥檝e given us the GIF of Disney Apollo, it鈥檚 almost hilarious when I think about it
Disney Apollo look like some handsome hulk of a guy, but still charming
But instead of facing Lester鈥檚 appearance, they鈥檇 see APOLLO entering the chat following Percy鈥檚 appearance in the Disney world
Like man is THE show of male BEAUTY
The original blonde, pretty boy, and husband of Perseleia Athenide
Apollo, original blond pretty boy who's the epitome of male beauty, spawning in the moment he senses someone with uncouth thoughts about his wife: complete with the "there you are sweetheart"
(he doesn't come when Percy is fighting because he knows she can handle herself and she'll call for help when she needs it)
disney Apollo seeing Lester, knowing he could kick his ass:
disney Apollo seeing Apollo, prepared to fight for Perse:
Percy watches it all with popcorn and sharing it with goth Hades

Considering what happened to baby Hercules I can only imagine Disney Zeus' horror when Apollo tells him that the Lester form is because PJO Zeus willingly turned his son mortal.

There's a whole myth about the situation but it honestly reads more like a Looney Tunes skit than anything else.
Shit - Athenide AU with Perse ACTUALLY forming from the fountain as a baby would be so much messier. Not just because she wouldn't be able to advocate for herself, but because of Hera.
The goddess of Motherhood has never once had a child born as a baby that STAYED a baby. Hepheastus got chucked, sure, but he grew up fast once he 'landed'. Which parent chucked him also depends on the version. Hera is Zeus' 6th or maybe 7th wife, as well, and technically, of all of Zeus' kids not with her...only Athena isn't a bastard. She's Zeus' first true-born child, the first princess of Olympus.
For Athena, the stepdaughter she cannot even truly hate, the sworn virgin, to have an infant daughter (So small, so perfect and sweet, brilliant eyes like mother Rhea and downy dark curls; the infant the Fates declared as Perseleia, goddess of Loyalty) must burn.
If Zeus threw Hepheastus, her son, for being less than perfect, can you imagine the unholy trio of Athena, Demeter and Hera all fighting and clawing to have Perse on Olympus? Demeter wants to avoid Athena losing Perse as she did Persephone. Athena wants to keep her precious Owlet close. Hera, who tolerates Athena at time, is now THROWING herself into the role of stepmother, and like The Pit is she letting her new granddaughter be dragged to the sea!
Im not even joking about it: if Perse sprouted as a baby, Athena would鈥檝e caught her in a second and dragged as far as possible not only from Poseidon but all Olympus 馃槶
Like, Demeter would have a full existencial crisis because like, Athena is the mother but Poseidon is the one who鈥檚 been stolen from his kid.
And ofc, Hera would not let it slide. Like the fuck you mean the eternal virgin got a baby and she didn鈥檛??,

We'll get back to the gods freaking out about Perse and Arsino毛 wandering Tartarus in a second.
Consider for a second Percy and Annabeth unknowingly walking the exact same path they walked the first time. Hermes shrine wasn't just haphazardly thrown into Tartarus, he placed it there on purpose. Perhaps to honor the journey, perhaps as a just in case measure.
I am soooo sorry for flooding your inbox but I can't stop think about this AU. 馃槶
Imagine Zeus having to trap both Athenide Twins in Tartarus after their parents rebel because he can't be sure that they wouldn't try to break each other out if he only trapped one. Them coming out of it with new scars and matching white streaks in their hair. It's the only physical feature they have in common so it doesn't surprise anyone that they both keep it
Let鈥檚 talk about this: in Of The Fountain, Perse has her memories of Percy so in the Twins au, Perse and Arsino毛 would have their memories
They wouldn鈥檛 have escaped from their chains on their own but if they knew their Twin was there, was also chained, was also suffering, they would go all Harley Quinn to escape and find their sister
They already know they can drink of the Phlegethon to survive, they know where Damasen is so they can have a safe haven and remind him of the sky, and they have a general idea of where to go for the doors of death to escape but they may have moved around.
The Arai, Acklys, Echidna, Kampe, and every monster in existence would be gunning for the Athenide Twins
and when Hades gets down there and finds both his nieces gone, he鈥檚 going to be so stressed out

There would be so much groveling. Apollo is a bigger simp, yes, but Hermes is just the single most pathetic creature on Olympus. (Affectionate)
(2/?) The main problem is getting Arsinoe and Hermes to a point where they could regard each other as a potential romantic partner. Which probably ties into all the Immortals' initial reactions to the 'new' twins - yes, there's probably a lot of people panting over Perse. (It's fine, Arsinoe's used to it.) It makes me wonder if anyone displayed outright interest in Arsinoe, though? Probably not Hermes, I think - he might find it fun to tease this Athena-coded daughter of Poseidon at first, but then - well, then he and Arsinoe share a moment of sheer exasperation as they watch Apollo and Perse moon over one another, and after that - after that, Hermes might find he likes having Arsinoe be *in* on the joke with him rather then having /her/ be the joke. And it might balloon out from there. Until one day Hermes looks at Aphrodite and sees blonde hair and grey eyes and it just. Oh. Oh, I'm in trouble.
eheheheheheheheheh
okay but think about it like this: Annabeth sees Luke in Hermes, Hermes sees Arsinoe in May
hehehe
Hermes thought that wooing the golden Athenide would be easy; flatter her with pretty words and soon she'll be his.
Arsinoe was a challenge, she was clever, she was strategic and could keep up with his pranks and games. She was funny and loved animals and loved her sister and her nose crinkled when she smiled.
Hermes is in a meeting with the other olympians when he glances over at Aphrodite and sees Arsinoe sitting in her chair and it hits him: he's in love with Arsinoe Athenide and now he has to go vent to Apollo about how unfair it is that they both love the Athenide Twins but neither can pursue their Twin
when the Athenide Twins disappear, like Apollo, Hermes' lovers tend to share similarities to an Athenide. Where Apollo's lovers are dark haired, green eyed, and sun kissed; Hermes lovers are fair, pale eyed, and witty
May sees more than she should. She knows things she shouldn't know. Hermes hopes that she's his Arsinoe returned. He begs her not to become the Oracle of Delphi, to think of their son. Hermes can only watch in horror as who he believes to be Arsione to waste away, to be lost to madness, to be forever baking cookies and making sandwiches for a son who's never coming home.
Hermes looks at Apollo and the Perse lookalike and hates how Perse could ever have another sister while his Arsinoe is mad
