this is lowkey one of my fav moments between iruka and naruto (yes i know it occurs within seconds of them being introduced lmao) like we really get a feel for their relationship and how iruka clearly knows naruto well and cares about motivating him to do better bc he sees so much potential in naruto and knows that he can…don’t get me started on iruka being one of the only adults in the entire fuckin’ village who’s willing to spend one-on-one time w/ naruto and treat him like a human being (more importantly, a human child) instead of a monster
