i cant sleep because the sound of the girl harmonizing with her fan is playing on repeat in my head it is making me feel such strong emotions of nostalgia, grief and longing

i think the best way to go on is understanding that it is ok to mourn the death of liam without necessarily having to support him or his actions because i definitely do not

he did terrible things and it is so important to still support maya and his victims

however

i think it is ok to mourn his death since to so many people its not just him dying but also a part of their childhoods

like to me, his death is not just him dying but i also have the knowledge/reminder that i'll never be 12 again and obssessed with 1d and its like a reminder of a loss of innocence in a way

and i think thats why so many people are having mixed emotions since we know he did bad things but still mourn his death

i feel like i mourn the person he was and could have been along with my childhood since this is a clear reminder that it will never come back

especially though, be kind to his family and also supporting maya and sending her love is super important
