Of all of the times to flashback, I wish they had put this in ep 11:

I imagine this is why Mark has not brought up turning Tong. Even Nakan’s original plan was to drain Tong, not turn him. I don’t think it’s that no one has considered turning Tong. More like the vampire think it would be impossible, so the option is not even on the table.

There are many ways ep 12 could go. A happy ending would mean our boys are together, but will it be as Human/Vampire or some other combo?

If Mark could turn Tong, that would solve their problems. But would turning Tong result in him being an emotionless shell of his former self? Would the golden blood protect him?

Speaking of the golden blood, it has the power to strip immortality from a vampire. Is there a way Tong could turn Mark back into a human without sacrificing himself?

Remaining human/vampire would be bittersweet, because we would ultimately know their fate. Very tragic, appropriate for a gothic fairytale.
