phillip smiles softly, a light blush admittedly painting his cheeks. he reaches for her hand and gives it a light squeeze. being with aurora felt like a dream, one he had hoped he'd never have to wake up from. ❝tell me, aurora. if you could go anywhere in this world, where would it be?❞

she knew she could always rely on phillip for support. the princess smiled at him, " well, if i follow my heart, then that's wherever you're going to be. " aurora said with a soft giggle. "but — i would have nobody else walk with me. "

flynn blinked at her. his lip twitches like he couldn't decide whether to laugh or groan. he was unsure if she was serious or joking. rapunzel. ❝do i believe — oh, rapunzel. of course i believe that. they're thieves. it's not a 9-5 gig. they're all the same. you don't walk into a bakery and expect them to be selling horses, right? i'll say usually thieves also have side gigs. like, uh, stabbing and choking.❞ flynn knew from experience. he gestured towards the pub. ❝you'll be fine. you got me after all. if you don't think you can handle it, we can always go back.❞

she looks with a curious gleam in her eyes, at the entrance of the pub. it looks like a normal enough place, anyway. "do you truly believe that they would spend their time around other thieves and choose to do illegal things?" she pauses, because as soon as the words leave her mouth, she hears how ridiculous it sounds. "---we don't have to go in." @isdeathlystill, continued.

❝it surely isn't. i don't truly believe in coincidences.❞ snow said softly. she believed that life always has a plan, it’s just unknown to everyone. she tilts her head toward rapunzel as a smile blooms from her red lips. ❝perhaps, it's meant to be. the world has its way of weaving people together. what are you doing out here in these woods?❞ snow was hiding from the queen. she was relieved to see a friendly face that she trusted like rapunzel's.

ferdinand's eyebrow raised. he didn't mean to startle her. he lifted one hand, placing the other over his heart to show he meant no harm. ❝forgive me,❞ he said. although his voice was rich, it was gentled to meet her caution.

he bowed his head, before looking up and clearing this throat. ❝i did not mean to frighten you. your voice. it drew me here before i could think better of it.❞ he'd never heard such a voice, or seen a beauty like hers to match it. ❝you need not fear. i am not enemy to you. only a stranger who wishes to hear more.❞ he was more than just a stranger to the kingdom. an allied prince, requested to see the queen's reign for himself.

❝i am ferdinand. if you'd grant me a chance, i'd be honored to know your name?❞

"   𝐆𝐎𝐎𝐃𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒,   "   the   raven   haired   beauty   let   go   of   the   rope,   the   bucket   falling   back   into   the   water   with   a   harsh   splash.   she   startled   by  @isdeathlystill's   sudden   appearance   for   two   reasons   —   the   first   simply   being   he   was   a   man   she   did   not   know   and   the   second   was   how   .   .   .   wonderful   his   voice   was.   eyes   wide,   ruby   lips   agape,   snow   watched   as   he   sang   the   very   song   that   just   left   her   own   lips   with   such   charm,   as   if   he   too   knew   the   words   by   heart. 

her   cheeks   flushed,   as   she   shyly   moved   around   to   the   other   side   of   the   well   —   putting   stone   between   them,   “   you   know,   you   really   mustn't   be   here,   if   the   queen   were   to   see   you   .   .   .   ”

❝exaggerating?❞ flynn scoffs. oh, little does she know. that crown was his ticket out of this life . . . or maybe his ticket out of the kingdom onto a tropical island. if she could've only seen him running from those guards. clutching that satchel to his chest as though it were a newborn. ❝let's just say that it's worth more to me than . . . well, your entire tower décor budget.❞ flynn would leave out it was enough important to be guarded day and night in an empty room.

he shoved his hands in his pockets and leaned against the nearby tree. ❝before you ask, it's not sentimental. i don't do sentimental. i do practical. like owning satchels full of important things that people with ridiculously long magic hair wouldn't get.❞ he narrowed his eyes. she looked innocent, but he knew damn well she would hurt a fly. with a frying pan, to be exact. ❝why do you think i want it so badly?❞

“   𝐘𝐎𝐔   𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖,   “   rapunzel   started,   emerald   eyes   glancing   at   the   thief   beside   her   before   she   continued,   ”   i   think   you're   exaggerating   how   important   that   satchel   is,   ”   the   blonde   mused.   she   didn't   let   @isdeathlystill   know   she   had   seen   what   was   inside   the   satchel   —   whatever   the   shiny,   sparkling   object   was   —   and   she   wanted   to   see   if   it   was   truly   of   value   or   of   some   sentiment   to   him.   that   is,   if   he   was   capable   of   being   sentimental. 

the   blonde   wasn't   too   sure   about   that.
