They are timid creatures and nervous around strangers, but they can easily be drawn out of hiding places by enticing them with their favorite snack. Their fluffy tails both collect and spread pollen as they traverse flowerbeds, hence their name. Those who become tamed are bonded to that master by fate, it is said that they are meant to accompany witches on their journey to discover their true destinies.”

Welcome to Isle of Mythos!

WHAT IS ISLE OF MYTHOS?

Isle of Mythos is a concept for a pet simulator game, playable on web browser similar to titles like Neopets or Flight Rising. You play as a witch in the magical world of Mythos Isle, caring for your familiars: mythical creatures bound by the elements. 

Isle of Mythos is currently only an idea. It currently does not have a team of artists or coders, nor does it have a plan for funding, testing, or launch. If you are interested in helping to bring this concept to life, please DM any official Isle of Mythos social media page. 

WHAT’S HAPPENING IN ISLE OF MYTHOS?

Witches and familiars lived together in peace on Mythos Isle for centuries, until the arrival of The Gloom. An unknown source of sadness permeated the land, corrupting familiars and causing them to go mad.

It is up to you, bold witches, to help fight The Gloom and restore Mythos Isle back to how it was. Battle and capture the wraiths of familiars so you may heal and befriend them. You can also grow your family of familiars through breeding!

There are ten elemental factions: Aeris, Cryis, Hydral, Ignis, Luma, Mystica, Natura, Terra, Tox, and Umbra. Pick which of them you’d like to call home, then expand outward to discover more lands! 

There are several species roaming Mythos Isles- Canis, Felis, Avis, Cervis, and Draconis to name a few- but more are bound to reveal themselves. 

FEATURES

There are many things you can do in the world of Isle of Mythos!

Customization: Customize and dressup both your player character and familiars to your liking! Whether it be colors or patterns, just about anything can be changed as you please. And if you’re an artist, there are also opportunities for you to design your own markings and skins!

Care for your familiars: To help your familiars become stronger, you must bond with them. Feed them, play with them, and heal them when they’re sick or wounded. You can also build bonds between your familiars, and once they like each other enough, they can breed and lay eggs!

Collect, craft, and cultivate: Gather or buy items which can be used for a variety of crafting recipes! Eventually, you can start farming your own items as well!

Get to know the locals: Get to know the characters of Isle of Mythos! If you offer them gifts, you may be rewarded!

Games: Play minigames to earn gold, which can be used to spend on a variety of items and services across Isle of Mythos!

Battle: Fight The Gloom! Battle enemies to earn loot and capture wraiths, which can be restored into new familiars.

Socialize: Trade or bid on familiars and items with other players! You can also send private messages or have discussions in the forums!
