[A video recording taken from a handheld dataslate. It's a bit dark, and very cramped. It looks a bit like a maintenance shaft you would find in a ship. Every sheet metal surface is covered wall-to-wall in glow-in-the-dark doodles of every neon color Vissily could get his hands on. Piled up in the middle is a pile of blankets, pillows, various knickknacks, and boxes. From the way the knickknacks seem to float, it appears that there is no gravity.]

It seems as though this is the mess hall, though it is still very small. There are spaces set for four people.]

[A package arrives thru quarantine! Inside are a couple bio-grade stasis containers, one of which is packed with gukhwa-ppang and the other containing a spray of purple jindallae kkot. There’s also a small canister of tea, some sundry bits of this and that, and: a yellow-green marker. It looks like it’s been used to write a card in quick, precise script:]

Guess who’s learning to write with fine magnetic control!! Found this attached to one of my arms post-activation, figured you might want it. Sorry if the rest is too much, everyone wanted to put something in the care package before we left left terra firma.

I have a remarkable amount of shore leave saved up (though I don't believe that we refer to it as shore leave, especially not in a noncombatant role such as ours), and would like to spend it with someone worthwhile.

OOC: NEW BLOOD!!!!! My biggest recommendation is to not try to keep track of everything going on, and mostly follow those that interest you/that you want to follow!! Other than that, bringing homebrew is absolutely fine and plenty of us use it!!

OOC: kinda also want to get into Lancer RP posting, but I'm not sure how. you're really good at this so 8 want to ask two questions:

how do you keep track of all the interlocking story arcs going on at once? do some of you know each other IRL or what?

is it cringe to bring in a homebrew license? because I came up with a weird striker/support I call the HORUS Unicorn and kinda want to bring it in, but that might be *too* weird.

I keep track of storylines by having the characters rotating in my brain constantly.

On a more serious note many of the people in the community have become really good online friends of mine and we talk on discord quite a lot and plan some of our stuff there. But those I don't know on discord I speak to over Tumblr dms. Speaking OOC about intent in a storyline can really help things flow! If you're scared to dm someone just send an ask first but I've found that the vast majority of people here are chill. My DMs are always open as long as people are nicies to me! Lol

On the topic of homebrew, pretty much everyone i know is ok with it. As long as you're open to friendly balancing critique if you try to actively use it mechanically most people will be down to roll with it.

My friend @corsair-news-alliance has an absolute PEAK homebrew LCP, as do a couple of my other friends in the community. I am very big on encouraging that type of creativity!!!

But yeah all in all just hop in!! We don't bite!!! I have a couple of relatively big? blogs in SINGED and Rosie so I can answer questions and stuff but like. I got my start by just jumping in and shitposting with Rosie!! It's very fun!!!

Do you know any ways someone can get augs that don’t involve a primary nerve mesh install? Like, no touching the brain directly at all. Everything I can find on limb enhancement puts way too much data thru ://
