I really love the new neighborhood that came with Get Together. Not sure how I feel about these salmon/ orange clouds though.

I have been trying my hand at figuring out how to recolor/retexture hair and clothing! This is my first attempt with @pastel-sims playful braids! I think it turned out okay for a first time recolor. I’m going to try and make my own retexture as well...Maybe :)

Sixam Fueling Station

Space rocks battered your ship? Aliens blasted a hole in your fuselage? Or do you simply need a quick break between intergalactic adventures? Sixam Fueling Station has the amenities to take care of most of your needs.

I was inspired by the Diamond City market in Fallout 4 (even though I don’t have the game). I’m a sucker for pipes and rusted metal.

! Important !: Download will unfortunately reset the rockets meaning they’ll be reverted back to the empty platform that you need to build on. If you want your lot to look like mine, you’ll need to fully build Rocket A and Rocket C, and stop building Rocket B just before the final “complete” stage (when the scaffolding is removed). Rocket A (when built) will not be usable because of the clutter around it. Rocket C (when built) will be fully usable/upgradable, and so will be Rocket B (if you choose the build it fully). The Wormhole Generator (to go back home) can be found behind Rocket C. A bathroom can be found next to Rocket A. The bar (from Get Together with little lights) will not usable because it overlays counters, but you can sit/eat by the counters.

How to place: You will need to travel to Sixam first. Use bb.enablefreebuild cheat, enter Build mode, then place this lot over the default.

Why is it set as Residential? For some reason “special” venue types get saved as Residentials in the gallery. The game will automatically change it to “Alien Party Lot” upon placement.

Why didn’t I organize my files when I first starting downloading CC?

Because now I have over 3,000 files that are just scattered without reason into random folders that have names like ‘poodle, ‘dragon’, ‘new as of December’. Hahaha, well, I’ve promised myself no new cc will be added to my game until there is some organization set in place. This is life and death Sims 4 problems.

Hair Retexture Help?? Anyone?

I have been with the cc crowd for awhile and I still am having a hard time finding hair that meet my criteria. I either... -don't like the texture. -don't like the colors (most of them are WAY too bright for me). So, behold, I want to make my own haha. I would love some help from the Sims 4 community that is so wonderful here on Tumblr! I would appreciate any tutorials for more recent S4S updates or any better explanation of exporting your new texture into S4S and having it show up in game. *also, alphas and just general 'what do all these neat things do'. Cause S4S is cray. Sooo...help a fellow simmer out?

and I am back again for this weeks Building Challenge that was to create a community lot! I decided to go for a hipster bar because I really dislike the two bars that are in the sims 4! They just don’t look nice or have a good vibe to them so I never send my sims there (lol sorry guys, no partying for you (until now))! I am going to be honest that this was a lot harder than I thought! First because I’m not old enough to go to bars in the US and secondly there isn’t a whole lot of content for bars in the sims 4... I did my best mmkay! 

Here are the deets!

-Four level bar located in Magnolia Promenade (I don’t really care for the business option as of yet).

-main floor features a full band set-up and stage.

-second floor has the main bar and two lovely fireplaces with lots of seating for quiet chatter.

-third floor is the tv area with an outdoor bar on the deck.

-basement contains a pool, bar, and more seating (don’t ever play musical chairs on this lot or else you’ll be playing for daysssss).

And that’s all folks! I got lazy decorating at the end of this marathon and I rushed with the pictures so I may revisit this one on a later date!

This is my wonderful spring creation for week eight of the building challenge! This house was a challenge indeed! It’s a three level home that is all open concept except for the restroom! On the main floor there is a kitchen/living/dining room. The second floor in technically more of just a stair landing with a small area for a computer that has a nice view over the kitchen/living/dining room below (also some nice views out the windows)! Then on the third floor we have a private little loft type bedroom with a deck that looks out into the front yard! This was built in Granite Falls and has full floral coverage over the entire plot! Hand placed every clump of grass/flowers. It also has string lights that zigzag through the pine trees placed around the house as well as a small campfire! I hope you guys love it as much as I do! 

P.S the photos do not do the house any justice but they’ll have to do for now~

Voila! Here is my version of a shotgun house in the sims 4! I’m mostly happy with the results! I tried to keep it very traditional to what shotgun houses are, typically a one story home that is very long and narrow where the front door is in the same line of sight as the backdoor! I gotta say, this was definitely an interesting challenge!

Yo yo here are some work in progress shots of my shotgun house for the Sims 4 challenge of the week! (so ignore the floating candles atm haha). I’m mostly done besides making some tiny alterations and decorating the outside (uhg, least favorite thing to do).
