Couch surfing meeting

So, you might have heard about this website -that I mention in the web- where you can meet people from all over and maybe, just if you both feel like stay at their place for free. Let’s make something clear: you host somebody because you want to, THEY DON’T HAVE TO GIVE YOU ANYTHING, and that includes sex. I’m just saying because many people here thinks if you host them, you get a “price” back. Rude.

Well, I was really scared to try, and it was a totally new thing, buttttttt, I met up with some pretty cool couch surfers, girl and boy. We met and walked through the city for a while, exchanging experiences. Guess what, almost everytime someone asked her to stay was with a visible intention of doing something...and for him, on the contrary, it was really hard to find someone who wanted to host him. Most of hosts prefer a girl. Weird? Well, I told you.

But meeting outside our places was the best. We had a really nice time. We met our differences, heard about exciting lives and just helped each other to have an idea of where and where not to go when talking of Couch surfing.

By the way, they were so nice. The girl even got me a surprise. And we still keep in touch. You should try, but just be careful.

Life is Life

Hi, guys. I’m back here!

I haven’t been networking so much lately, but then my mom came and told me to write about me. Yep, as you hear. Usually moms tell you to stay out of social media, and I, personally, don’t like being around very much, but she told me to keep writing about life, society, education, and moreover, about my experiences.

I don’t think I can write much, but I’m always up to something new. So, here I am. Sitting alone in a new room and a new city.

I came here to study, but this is a huge change to me. Actually, I’m on my 2nd year of university, so it’s not the first time I’m by myself...

As I said, this was mom’s idea. She’s amazing. And all I wanted to talk about with this “life is life” article, was her. All moms and dads, actually.

We all have mom and dad -sometimes they’re our grandparents or even a friend we met years ago- and we learn almost everything about this people. We all have a role model: we try to copy all they do because we admire them, and they give us joy with any comment. We have to appreciatte this people and love them with all of our souls. We have to tell them over and over, because we lost love thoughout years...Be kind, be grateful, be loving (and loved)...It’s free and it can change someone’s day.

I’ll try to write about some of the things I love. And I’ll tell about things I’ve done, so in case you have to repeat them you can do them better, to my moms request!

To my younger-self I would tell not to care about anyone’s judgment, because as you get older you realise how we all judge instinctly without knowing nothing at all. To my older-self I would tell her to live, as much as possible, as far as possible, as wild as possible. 

Living is the greatest thing that’s happened to us, but for so, we have to live. Be afraid of having an adventure, but, have it. Live as much as you can because the day you want to realise, it’ll be too late. 

Or maybe it is never too late.

Os dejo aquí algunas de las películas que más me dan a pensar. Una para cada noche de la semana. De todas sacas algo bueno, o bien te inspiran a revolucionar el mundo, o bien a quererte a ti mismo por encima de cualquiera, o bien a luchar por aquellos a los que quieres con todo tu alma.

1 Love, Rosie: Para aquellos que planean toda su vida sin darse cuenta de que en cualquier momento puede cambiar radicalmente. Puede ser un embarazo o conocer a una persona que te convence de una idea distinta a la que habías pensado. O para aquellos se pasan la vida buscando un amor especial, cuando siempre han tenido una familia arropándoles.

2 La chica danesa: Estupenda forma de conocer las dificultades de la vida de un transexual. El valor de todas esas personas que luchan por ser quienes son y el carisma con el que se debe afrontar la situación. Para mentes dispuestas a conocer más allá.

3 Rumores y mentiras: El “qué dirán” nunca había sido tan rebatido como en esta película. Para luchar por lo que de verdad sentimos, no dejarse llevar por nadie y tener un carácter fuerte.

4 Cómo ser soltera: Convertida en una de mis favoritas desde que la vi. Olvídate del príncipe azul, porque solo existe en los cuentos. Tanto mujeres como hombres tienen la libertad de elegir si realmente quieren compartir su vida o no. Y si que no influya lo que la sociedad decía

5 La vida es bella: Cuando creas que tu vida es un asco, ve esta película y dime si has pasado por algo así. Tienes todo el derecho del mundo a quejarte por todo (yo lo hago continuamente) pero seguramente tengas mil cosas de las que alegrarte. 

6 V de Vendetta: La venganza es un plato que se sirve frío, dicen, pues aquí verás un plan brillante ideado por un solo hombre, una auténtica revolución que inspiraría a cualquiera.

7 Ahora me ves: Como el deseo de un grupo reducido de personas muy independientes, revoluciona a todo el mundo con sus actos. Como este grupo se enfrenta y juega con los mayores líderes. 

Espero que saquéis lo mejor de cada una y os gusten mucho. O por lo menos os gusten. En mi opinión, no solo son muy cautivadoras (y algo excitantes), sino que además te hacen sentir dentro de la propia película y conocer la situación como si de primera mano fuese.
