Friend group chats are fun. Today one of my friends, who keeps pet crayfish, found babies in a tank that was supposed to be a males only. No choice but to empty out the whole tank to fish out the babies of unknowable origins. But lo and behold, there was a culprit: one teeny tiny little female had somehow escaped containment, evidently specifically going out of her way to break into this all male tank to get railed by like 15 males twice her size. Possibly completely different breed, too. Monsterfucker supreme.

So for a good solid hour or so, the whole group chat was focused on. slutshaming this one specific little crustacean. With like 300 babies.

Both of them are needed in the labs, and something goes wrong and Operator goes off like a Ventkid with some Ostron curses mixed in for flavor while Drifter curses in Tenochtitlán, and then a few Brittanic swears. Loid is baffled and Tagfer is taking notes on things to call Albrecht.

Operator stands like their frames certainly but there are times, when they're quietly thinking, they fold their arms and tilt their head and Drifter snorts because they look like a little mini-Loid.

Drifter stands like a soldier, Arthur says as much, but it's not until Drifter stands next to Umbra that they realize they stand like a Dax.

Little things, here and there, of people they love slipping in and shaping them to different people.

there’s been a really bizarre trend in the past couple years of TERFS/radfems getting pissed off about biology posts. posts about the bilateral gyandromorph cardinal (one half male, one half female), posts about older hens beginning to crow and act like roosters, posts about animals being animals. and it’s hilarious because they interpret these posts as some kind of agenda. no! these are animals not choosing any gender identity or sexuality but being born into bodies they have no control over. weird how that happens in nature huh
