“Two Types of Sectors”

Source:Google.com
Historically in the Philippines there are two types of sectors developed, the private sector and the public sector. As with most choices, especially in the work world, there are benefits and consequences of working for both public and private sectors. There are different sets of needs to be met in each criterion but they may slightly relate to each other as well. A public organization is owned and operated by the government, while a private organization is dominated by private business operators. These are two main types of business operation within the economy. They both provide related services on some level and differ from one another on a diversity of features.
Working either in a private or public sector may be affected technologically. A public sector mostly could not provide updated technology due to their branches that the government cannot accommodate and also, due to lack of funds. On the other hand, private sectors mostly has their funds for their company ready at all times that would surely satisfy and accommodate the needs of the company if ever there’s a problem.
Public and private sectors could also affect the economy. There are some rules and requirements to meet in every branch of the government and for every position within that branch. It has a big help in the economy as long as you know how to read, write and understand you could easily get the job, while in the private sector it is mainly based on the idea of profit. When a person applies for a position in a private sector, they are required a certain level of education, experience, training or skills that cannot be obtained easily by people nowadays.
Socially, public and private sectors have a big difference because of its vision. The public sector wants to help the people to get the job however in the private sector, they just want to develop their company to be the best rather than to helping people in the community.
Politically, they have similarities due to the people behind the public and private sectors. They support the government in order to maintain their reputation in the society which makes them known to the public.
Either public or private sectors they follow the law of the government which provides the safety of their employee and should have a record in the government to help people have their beneficiary in the government and protect consumer laws.
Environmentally, both sectors make sure that they could help the environment through their activities like tree planting and clean up drives. They make sure their wastes are properly disposed and will not harm the environment. They are harmless not only to the environment but also to their workers and to the people who live near their companies. According to Newnham,( pp. 156–158) advocates tightly drawn orders for directions and the effective use of section 7 reports to require the local authority to report on the nature, progress and outcome of its child protection proceedings.
Both public and private sectors aim for the good of their companies and for the betterment of the society, technologically, socially, politically, environmentally, and legally committed to their own actions for the safety of mankind.

“The Ugly Side of the World”

Source:Google.com
Discrimination is one of the reasons why the world is still struggling in communicating. People don’t trust each other because of this reason. It is often described as treating a person unfairly because of who they are or because they possess certain characteristics. A person can be discriminated by her gender, age, race, disability, religion, pregnancy, sexual orientation, weight, or marriage and civil partnership. These are the reason why discrimination exist and why it should be stopped.
There is no actual cause why people are being judgmental and why people are being discriminated but some made theories about this happening. Some said the reason why a person is being judgmental to other people and discriminating other people is because of his/her parents. Parents teach their children the attitude that they show to other people and the characteristic of a child often reflect the way he/she is being taught by his/her parents. Social media sites are also one of the reasons why people are being discriminated. It is because people tend to act what they read or watch in this platforms and we try to follow what they do since these are very influential operating system.
The effect of discrimination on certain people can be emotionally, mentally or physiologically. These people think that they have less worth, loss self-esteem and self-love. They may also harm themselves because of this reason. According to Pearl R.L.(2), “Weight discrimination affects a significant proportion of individuals with obesity and contributes to poor mental and physical health.” The effects of discrimination in society are reflecting on race, religion, and disable discrimination. One of the main reasons cause violence is race discrimination.
Discrimination should stop for the betterment of the world. We should not think negatively to other people and show love because it is the right thing to do. We should help one another for the progress of everyone.

“MY PLACE MY BELOVED HOME”

Source:Google.com
Asturias always has a special place in my heart. As my home, I spent most of my vacation there. So here is my perception on what Asturias really looks like and how it is amazingly one of the best places I had been gone. Its picturesque view that attracts people to take pictures using their mobile phones has a big impact in my hometown. Many tourists go there for sightseeing in the most beautiful tourist attraction in town. In my home town, we proudly present the old house of the Former President of the Philippines, Mr. Sergio Osmeña, which is now one of the tourist attractions in Asturias. The beauty of Asturias is like climbing a foggy mountain, you can’t see its beauty while climbing unless you reach the top of the mountain, and only then you will realize how beautiful it is.
Asturias is surrounded by mountains and seas; you might never want to look back when you reach Asturias because you don’t want to go home. The humming of birds will make you calm, the freshness of the air will make you fall asleep and the beauty of mountains will make you say “wow”. I call Asturias my stress reliever because whenever I feel so stressed out, I just go home and then all of my problems would wash away. The people in Asturias are generous; they love to have visitors in their home and they have a simple way of living which I love the most, they just live their lives to the fullest. Asturias is rich in vegetables, where green leafy vegie is all you can see, planted at the backyard of every house. In my perception, Asturias is the most beautiful place in Cebu where you can find caves, monkey forest, manmade lagoons, and hot spring. You can seek great adventures, and it has something that I cannot forget. One time, we went for a trip in one of the cave in Asturias; this was hidden far away from town. It was a bat cave, it was huge and dark, and whenever you clap your hands, the bats will fly above you. There are many places in Asturias that you would want to see, that is why I love Asturias because of what it has and what it hides. It maybe far from the city but one thing is for sure, all you can see here is nothing but adventure, also, it is free from pollution, all you can breathe is fresh air and all you can eat are fresh foods unlike in the city where the air is polluted and is very crowded. "It's not just about what you're seeing, but what you're learning along the way," From Ms. Watson, I quoted this because I know that it is something that says you cannot see the beauty of the place if you are not going to reach it.
Here in the province, you can assure yourself that you are safe even though you are going home late at night. Asturias is the apple of my eye; I do not know how I am so in love with this little town but maybe just because of the adventures and the good people that surround I made me fall in love with the place. Asturias also has a marine sanctuary only for sightseeing. You can see how marine life’s are protected and preserved. The marine sanctuary became a tourist spot because of the varieties of fishes that you can see and how they are taken care of. People in the sanctuary educate the public about the responsible behaviour and the importance of marine life. There are still many places in Asturias that you can see; these are just some of them. To relieve stress, Asturias would be the number one place that I would want to go, because of their beautiful nature and sights, your stay in the place would be all worth it and all worth remembering.
Asturias is a very remarkable place and well-known by their Lalin festival that captured the attention of many tourists because of their colourful costumes and their native dances. Asturias is my stress reliever and most especially this is my home.

“MY UNFORGETTABLE TRAVEL EXPERIENCE”

Source:Google.com
Traveling takes a person out of their comfort zone, away from all their normal pleasures, comforts and way of doing things. That is why I really love to travel to remove all the stress that I have in life. It can give peace and creat an unforgettable life experience. And now my memorable experience in traveling will be revealed in this essay with the people whom I travel with.
It was summer when me and my friends decided to have an outing in Bantayan Island, Cebu. While we are on our trip going to the Island, one of my friends vomited inside the bus, because of the long trip. After riding the bus, we rode a ship and were really excited to see the beauty of nature at Bantayan Island. Finally when we arrived at Bantayan Island port we first took a selfie for our documentary about our trip. We stayed for four days in Bantayan Island, it was a really short period of time that is why we wanted to enjoy all the time we had in our vacation.
On our first day we went a place called Virgin Island, going there we must first ride a boat to reach Virgin Island because it is far from town. We were amazed of what we saw, the water is crystal clear and the sand is as white as snow. We spent our first day on the Virgin Island taking many selfie’s and went swimming at the beach. It is really nice to go at this island because of the ambiance that really relaxing; after swimming in the sea, we went playing beach volleyball even though we do not know how to play it. We just go hitting the ball just to continue our game and after a day in the Virgin Island we went to another beach resort.
In our second day of travel, we decided to go to the nature park beach resort to go swimming in the pool. This resort amazed us also for what they have. The views and the playground is awesome. We played and swam in the resort like there is no tomorrow. After staying in the nature park, we got home at dawn, and we stayed in the apartment that we rented to relax ourselves to reserve energy for tomorrow.
On third day of travel, I and my group of friends agreed to stay in the apartment because of the tiring trip that we had on the island. Even though we were just in the apartment the fun never stopped because we went out fishing at the back of the apartment which was just meters away from the shore. In the seashore, we started to throw our hooks to the sea and the excitement starts because we agreed to have a competition in which if the one who will catch the most number of fish wins the game, but sad to say we were all losers because no one caught any fish. So we bought some beer and drank it by the shore, relaxed a little bit, then went back to the apartment.
At the last day of our trip, we went to another beach before we went home to the city, me and my friends agreed to go to the Camp Sawi, where broken hearted people go as what they say but oh! I forgot I am not broken hearted, I quoted this "even if you're someone who's slipping through the cracks, it's such a tight-knit community and network of families that you're never going to slip through those cracks."(Mr. Rasmussen) because I can sense it has something that built our friendship, you must have someone to lean on and that someone will be your friend and you can find true friends in adventures.
From the begging of our trip till the end we barkadas want some more adventures in this island but still time is too short it has to end up. But one thing is for sure we will come back to this island in just a matter of time.
