Bridal party for soon-to-be Mrs.Conde ♡
One of the girls in our fellowship group is a soon-to-be-misis! Hehehe! And that is Leslie!

Their wedding is less than a month from now so we planned a bridal shower for her. (Thanks to our ever reliable d-group leader, Ate Jin, who looked for the venue for the sparty!)
All the girls met up in Pink Me Up Nail and Dry Bar in Shaw. It was reserved to us the entire afternoon so you can imagine how giddy we were! (Or may be, it was just me and Jess being makulit as always, hehehe!) The place is really comfy and as usual, so dainty! The interior perfectly matches Leslie’s wedding motif.

(Jess and I came an hour late so I didn’t had time to take photos of the place. So lovely pa naman!)
Anyway, all the girls wore pastel-colored outfit….para cute sa picture haha! Most of us had mani + pedi + our own choice of foot spa and Leslie also had a complimentary hair blowout. Wootwoot!
Kina and Tim together with their super cute baby, Boaz, also joined us. Kina + Tim gave a short devotion about marriage. It was definitely a great time! Most of what the couple shared were already familiar to me. But as I always say, iba pa ren kapag naririnig mo. Tipong, “Alam ko naman na yon, pero it’s good to be reminded again.”
To share a few, the gist of the devotion is what it is to be like a designed helper/help-meet of the Lord.
H - ope in the Lord
E - ncourager
L - ike-hearted
P - ositive
E - xcellent
R- espect
Tim gave real-life examples of these in their marriage. Practical and very realistic examples! :)
It’s been a while since I last attended a bible-study or fellowship and I felt refreshed once again! My spiritual journey had been a bit dry lately, so hearing all these reminded me that….it’s still God, really.
God first and above all else.
Still so blessed to have these ladies around.

And thanks to them who still lovingly welcome me every time I join them even if I’m often missing in action. Hehe! Congrats, Leslie! 24 days to go! ♡

For an amateur in brush calligraphy and non-techie person like me, I'm already too happy with what I came up with for my new blog banner!! Site is still going through renovation, though. (Still have to learn to edit the html code haha!)

Flowers x life
I've been trying to compose a good write-up about the things I want to share. There are a lot! But it seems like I'm lost for words.
May be I've been so tired with work that my mind can't function well enough - cannot even think of words to use; or may be I don't know where to begin. Or, siguro....distracted lang talaga ko sa flowers sa desk ko.

Lanta na sila! Hahaha!
I didn't even get the chance to grab a fresh bunch last weekend to replace them.
Anyway, yes, reality is...it's not always fresh blooms and tidy desk. Parang life lang, ay? Hahaha! I'm quite dramatic because 2 teammates bid their goodbyes just recently as they chose to resign. Buti pa sila!! Joke!!! Hahaha! But, yup. Now, it's time to get a fresh bunch once again!
God bless Peng & Pau! ♡

To CBTL, with much love ♡

Looking back, I have welcomed 2014 with much enthusiasm looking forward to a lot of things! Last year, I have well thought of what to do for the year that is about to come; something different, something worth my time and something that I’m sure will make me thank myself in the future.
So I thought of what I like doing and where my heart is. I asked myself, what is my passion?
As I spent more time thinking about it, I then ended up having a goal, which is to explore more of the creative side of myself.
I know that ever since I was young, I already had the heart for anything related to it. I started early with scrapbooking, cross-stitching, and hand lettering but never really made time for it. So I said to myself, in 2014, I would make time for these activities to hone my skills more and be better at it. It will also be a year of learning for me!
Getting the 2014 Giving Journal added a push!
The planner didn’t just served its plain purpose to help me plan out my activities and keep track of whatever else I needed to do. Moreover, it kept me motivated with its weekly reminders and quotes. It helped me keep my eyes on the goal and continue taking steps in achieving it. This year, I was able to attend various workshops and seminars wherein I learned new skills and have gained tons of new insights, and also met new acquaintances.
In a Goal-setting (and Basic Chalk Lettering) workshop I attended last January, I have written a goal that in 5 years time, hopefully I’ll be able to share my passion in crafting through one-on-one or small group workshops. To be able to do that, I would need to further explore what skills I can still learn, what to practice, and what to master which serves as my short-term goals. And so, that was what I kept on doing this year. Surprisingly, after more than 9 months of exploring, learning, and sharing all those in social media, there are some inquiring if I can hold a mini workshop for them!
I’m no master yet. I still have a lot to learn! But I’m glad on how things turned out. Nothing touches a heart better than knowing that you inspire others just by doing what you love and sharing what you can! It feels great to be an encouragement and to know that you’re blessed to bless others.
I’m grateful for the times CBTL featured my posts in Instagram and when I also got the chance to attend the Feature Writing 101 workshop when they had chosen my lettering as an entry. I’m grateful for the team behind the concept of brewing your best year and becoming the best version of yourself!
To CBTL team, I’m just one of many lives you have greatly impacted with your hard work and dedication! I know it’s your job and it’s your responsibility, but I see your work not just as work itself. I see the heart you also have with what you do and I’d like to let you know that the time and effort you are putting into it don’t go to waste. I appreciate it and I’m sure I’m not the only one who does!
The 2014 Giving Journal helped me put my thoughts into writing, which helped me achieve my goals, and kept me inspired all the more. The Giving Journal had been a witness to the best days of my 2014! Now, I’m nothing but excited to get the 2015 Giving Journal, to plan for next year, to experience more wonderful things and again have my planner to witness my growth! :D
Thank you, CBTL! :)

I AM TURNING 24!!

That’s just 24 days away! And so I thought of setting a challenge for myself!! And that is to do hand lettering for 24 days! Yipeeee!!! ♡ (Yea, that one above doesn’t count.) I hope I get to do this. Haha!! Phrase/quote suggestions are very much welcome! Send them in through ask box or email!

2-week blog hiatus
It's not that I have again lost my drive to write nor were I have nothing grateful for the last 2 weeks that I didn't post anything.
Actually, it's the opposite!
First, I was extremely happy that Gilas won the last game in FIBA!!! Woohoo!!! (You could have seen me watch & cheer as I watch in the condo alone. I kept on updating my FB and surely friends' newsfeed got flooded with my real-time roller-coaster-of-emotions status update! Hahaha!)
Second, for the weekend spent with Kuya! For the Smiggle cases that arrive and a new alphabet stamp set which was his pasalubong for me from Malaysia.
Third, for being able to survive the first week of September in work! ♡ And still holding on haha!! (Please, give us additional headcount!!)
Fourth, for random dates with Mark over chips and DVD. Hihi!
And...there are a lot more!! ♡♡♡ But, you see, work is sucking the life out of me...I mean my personal time. Huhu!! I just hope everything will get better in the coming days.
Oh well, on the other hand, I chose to stay home today (that's why I had the chance to blog again). Philippines is at red rain signal due to typhoon Mario. Pray for us, please. A lot of people are badly affected already. Thanks, friends! ♡

Despite the heartbreaking loss of Glias Pilipinas
Few days ago, I posted a photo of my Smiggle case in Instagram. Yesterday, someone commented and asked where I got it and if Smiggle has a store here in PH. And so I replied, "Hi! No, I bought it in SG. If you want one, send me a mail at [email protected]."
This morning, I got a mail from her. As expected, she was inquiring about the hard case pencil case. It was very timely because I can actually order for her since someone is going home from SG soon!! Woohoo!! So I sent her a mail and mentioned her in my comment in the IG photo saying, "In case you haven't read yet, I replied to your mail."
And this is what she replied to me in IG: "I just read it! Oh my! You're a blessing! I'm excited! I'll reply in a while! :)"
Despite the headache because of work (yeaaa, it's first week of the month guys!!!) and heartbreak due to another loss of Gilas Pilipinas (onti na lang eh!!!), this made me smile. Thank you, Lord! :')
P.S. For those who are interested in getting a Smiggle case, shoot me an e-mail! :)
