“well consider your day a whole lot brighter, sunshine.” she grinned, shaking her head softly. “oof..” she hummed softly. “that sounds pricey and like you also need another hang out night soon, huh?” sophia sat up in her seat, offering a soft smile at the other. “whatever’s not too stressful on ya.. just not a bottle of beer please.”

“i’m only teasing.” the redhead grinned softly at the other, shaking her head softly. tonight was a night of spontaneity and she was glad to have a friend by her side through the process. “okay, hear me out. you know those really old fashioned speed dates? technically, we would have multiple dates.” sophia chuckled, shaking her head. “its something a client of mine is hosting and i promised i would join in... just not alone.”

“rough start to the day?” the redhead asked as she grabbed the glass in front of her. she leaned up a bit, extending her hand as much as she could to hand the glass to the other. “well lucky for you, your favorite person ever has arrived.” she teased.

Axel had already had a long day, despite the fact it was still relatively early. He made his way into the bar, only for one of the employees to tell him that the beer tap had broken. A long sigh escaped his lips. “Alright.. half off bottled beer while I figure this damn thing out.” He crouched down behind the bar, eyebrows furrowed as he unplugged the tap, grabbing a wrench to remove the faucet. He glanced up at the person across from him, “Mind handing me that glass?”

“oh come on. you sound like my mother!” she teased. “not only is it an amazing idea, but it’ll be fun! join in on the fun, athena!” sophia grinned at the other. “double dates for the win!!”

“Do I think it’s a good idea?” Athena repeated back to the person, resisting the urge to shake them and advise them not to do it. “No, I don’t think it is. But will I stop you? That depends, I guess. I can either sit on the sidelines and laugh or step in before you get into too much trouble.” @villagestart​

intro

sophia and her sister andie were born and raised in morehead city, north carolina. they lived with their father john and mother liz.

sophia was about seven and andie was three when their mother packed up and left them. she felt as if she wasn’t fit to parent the girls.

nearly a year later, john packed the girls up and they were on their way to manhattan.

not too long after, john started dating again. he and his girlfriend ended up having lily, sophia’s youngest sibling.

life couldn’t be too normal for too long for the davis family. not long after lily was born, a teenage boy came to the davis household, looking a lot like john. (long story short, john and his high school sweetheart had a child together that he didn’t really know about. he had moved before the news got out.) john and lily’s mother decided coparenting lily would be the best move for the two of them.

flash forward years and years later, john and wendy ended up marrying each other. soph considers wendy more of a mother than her birth mother would ever be.

from a young age, sophia fell in love with everything to do with art. she loved seeing how an idea in your head could be turned into something you could hold in your hands or others could see.

after several internships, the girl decided to go into event planning. she specializes in wedding planning.

will literally drop everything for someone she cares about and to an extent, shes that way with strangers too. loses things constantly. v scatterbrained. v hardworking. once shes made her mind up about something or someone, she can be very stubborn to change her mind. but other than that, she’s v carefree about most things. will most likely be the mom friend of any friend group. no one is a stranger for too long.
