Please please PLEASE tell me there are people out there who watched Good Will Hunting/obssess over it and need people to yell about it with bc I finished it in school for a text analysis and HOLY HELL the brain worms are insane for Will and Sean's found family dynamic. The way Sean managed to crack Will open little by little until Will saw Sean as his friend (and in my mind, possible father figure www) and, near the end of the movie, finally got Will's most vulnerable and raw state out is utterly beautiful.

I first had my dobuts about this movie honestly, since it took us three lessons to finish the 120-minute length movie, but God I was so wrong and I will happily take my statements back because for being 20 at the time, Matt Damon wrote a beautiful moving script abouut a boy who's flawed and fragile, who's scared of being hurt due to his past so resolves to hurting others and pushing them far away before they can hurt him.

He and Sean both suffered through child abuse as children, and Sean telling Will, "It's not your fault." really hits home for Will because yeah. It's not his fault, but it feels like it. He's an orphan, he was abused by his foster father, and he results to closing off to everyone except his closest friends. hell, he literally broke up with Skylar because he was so scared to move to Cali with her and start something new. But somehow, Sean did it. He'd reveal pieces of his past to Will and trust Will. That's what Will was so upset and was near tears while telling Sean, "Don't fucking do this to me, not you." He's scared that Sean will see his flaws and laugh and mock him for it, making the moment where he just breaks and cries into Sean's arms like a son finding his father while saying "Oh god, I'm sorry, oh god, I'm sorry" even more beautiful and emotional.

Anyways, yeah, those are my (lengthy) thoughts about Good Will Hunting. If you need someone to yap to about it my DMs are always open ;3

Warrior Telemachus AU; art + lore dump! (March 2025 update)

Hi hi everyone!! Wow, I don’t post often now, but I’m hoping that by posting some EPIC content (haha silly pun) and my art that I’ll get more confident in posting!!!

So today I have in store for you a Warrior Telemachus AU!! What’s that, you may ask? Well, Warrior Telemachus AU is basically when Telemachus, as a child, got taken hostage as a little infant before the Trojan War as leverage for Ody to fight in it.

Ten years after, the Trojan War has ended. But somehow, little Telemachus was hidden away and Ody was refused access to his son, causing the king to fall into a fit of rage and grief.

Fast forward a few more years, and Telemachus’ personal training has caught the attention of the God of War… Ares.

Most of my lore for the Telemachus’ journessy home story is not figured out yet, but Telemachus does get into a little scuffle with Dionysus… the God of Wine and Ecstasy. And, like his father in the joke animatics, he tries to “there are other ways of persuasion” his way out of the situation… and does he fail?? Does it work?? Idk, I’ll have to figure it out later lmao

AND AND IN THIS AU TELEMACHUS EMBRACES HIS GREEKNESS AND FALLS IN LOVE WITH A HANDMAIDEN’S SON FROM AN ISLAND HE WASHES UP ON ON HIS JOURNEY HOME!!

Of course, I’ll have to preface that everything that are depicted in my stories are fictional. Everyone is subjected to their own opinions and shit, so if you don’t like this story? Click off please! I’m just a random person on the internet trying to share her story and gauging people’s reactions.

I lied. Put your clothes back on you’re going to awkwardly listen to me yell about how Katsuki had the BEST personal character development and how his toxic personality w/ Midoriya was because of the fear of Midoriya growing stronger and faster than him, and by pushing him away he hopes that he can be the best and have Midoriya still look up to him as he’s always done when they were kids.

The only reason why he had such a big problem with hubris and his quirk is also because of the self-destroying mentaility of the hero system and the government by drilling into kid’s minds from an early age that having a powerful Quirk and being heroes are everything, overlooking the dangerous and risky factors thst comes to saving people both physically and mentally.

Big isn’t always everything, because as we have an example from All Might (and Midoriya by extension), by age and by overexertion, your Quirk can essentially destroy you physically, whether it be from injuries or your other senses. We get another example of this from Touya, as when he essentially lost control of his emotions, he started a fire so big he got hurt from it, and he was born genetically to be able to withstand the heat of flames. Even your own powers can hurt you.

And I think that goes the same with Katsuki.

But yk, my personal thoughts. :3
