Since DC is too cowardly to ever make superbat canon, Iâve decided to be delulu and pretend that Matthew x Jin from Under the Green Light is a superbat AU. I mean, come on, youâve got the same vibesâa cynical man with a rough past + a loner who finds beauty in everything around him. Bonus points, theyâre both orphans.
Mob Boss Jin: On the surface, he seems ruthless, but heâs actually fiercely loyal to those he cares about. Heâs deeply conflicted about the path his life has taken, so he constantly seeks ways to dull the guilt and pain. A recovering junkie who sluts around with his subordinates (to the dismay of his higher-ups), Jin finally finds himself addickted to the lost soul that wonât stop following him around.

Art Student Matthew: Glasses? Check. Tall, well-built guy who hides his physique under baggy shirts? Double check. Constantly underestimated and pushed around by the people around him? Triple check. But beneath that innocent puppy demeanor lies someone who will go feral the second his lover is in danger.

The âOlder Power Bottom x Younger Devoted Topâ dynamic is *chefâs kiss*

When asked by the Spanish edition of GQ if he believes Hamilton is better than him, Sainz replied: âI sincerely believe that no, obviously not. Just like if you ask this question to the 18 other drivers, they will answer the same.
âI think I am the best option for any Formula 1 team because, if I didnât have this mentality, I wouldnât be a Formula 1 driver and I wouldnât have the competitive soul that I have, and the other drivers will tell you the same thing.
âHaving said that, obviously I understand Ferrariâs decision, the opportunity to sign a seven-time World Champion and what that can bring and attract to a team.
âThatâs why, when I looked at it reflectively, it didnât hurt so much. Because at the end of the day itâs not that you are being replaced by any other driver, but you are being replaced by the best driver in the history of the sport, or one of the best drivers in the history of the sport.
âAnd in the end, if I have to be replaced by one of them, thatâs the one.â

So while fans were tearing each other apart, Lando and Oscar were playing monopoly on their shared flight home to Monaco and getting destroyed by Alex while eating mcdonaldâs to celebrate the 1-2.

For the record, I think driver's are allowed to get mad and speak their minds to the media. PR is boring and i'd rather hear their real opinions. But I also don't think people should have to take Charles' comments about Carlos lying down just because Charles is 'defending himself' or 'finally speaking his mind.'
Because i'm sorry, if Carlos said that about Charles' home race, you would be clutching your pearls and screaming about how awful of a person he is. Because half the time you people scream over Carlos for defending himself in the same way. But no if Charles does it we are not allowed to be upset by that?
You people are hypocrites. You always have been.

Carlos' haters trying to convince people he has beef with almost everyone on the grid (and on the paddock) when this mf could befriend a plant if he wanted to. They want him to be a villain so bad and it's hilarious ngl.

Lost respect for Ferrari a long time ago. Lost respect for Charles, too now. It's always the ones from whom you don't expect this type of behaviour. Saying "it's his home race.. he wanted to do something spectacular" so mockingly said a lot. That's the same driver who was crying to get a home race win. How are you going to show your double standards like this. Going from not talking about Lewis to not be disrespectful to Carlos to openly mocking his situation in front of the media just baffled the fuck out of me. Also, reprimanding Carlos with hand gestures just after the race. I know Carlos is too level headed, he'll just take it. There's no friend in this sport but all this has been such an eye-opener to me.

Iâve never had particularly strong feelings about charles leclerc but this weekend has made me see him in a very different light.
he started off with a very unsportsmanlike tap at landoâs car out of pure rage (in a free practice at that) and got away with just a reprimand and now after a critical and emotional race for his teammate (a teammate whoâs been by his side for 4 years, has always been second to him, had laid himself bare so he could win in monaco, was at his last home race with the team) basically went on air to not only shit on what went down in the race but also slight him as a racer itself. that was honestly disgusting and so incredibly disrespectful. it doesnât match with the selfless and sensitive driver heâs usually painted as, thatâs all Iâm saying.
