Skyrim, also known as The Old Kingdom or the Fatherland, was the first region of tamriel settled by humans from the continent of atmora: the hardy, brave, warlike nords, whose descendants still occupy this rugged land.

Rohan, or the Riddermark was a great kingdom of men located in the land once known as calenardhon, situated in the great vale between the misty mountains and the white mountains. the land of rohan extended from the banks of the river isen in the west, up to the east wall of rohan and shores of the river anduin in the east. the forest of fangorn lay on it's border, and the elven forest of lothlórien lay north of the river limlight.

The Shire was the homeland of the majority of the hobbits in Middle-Earth. It was located in the northwestern portion of Middle-Earth, in the northern region of Eriador, within the borders of the kingdom of Arnor.

It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were. And sometimes you didn't want to know the end, because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it's only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines, it will shine out the clearer.
