friday, september 6th 2019

2:50 pm was me and 3 other friends time for our tom holland photo op. we got in line early so that we could see him sooner and managed to get a pretty decent spot in line. we were in line for only 45 minutes so that was really nice, the time flew by so fast. the whole time me and my friends were just freaking out and my heart was pounding so fast and i was afraid i was gonna pass out lol. i was visibly freaking out and some other girls in line were like “SAME” and we had a bonding moment

then when we got in close enough to get checked in, there was a little black curtain between us and the spot where tom was and i put my face up to the curtain and i could see his silhouette there and i peeked through the little crack and i could SEE HIM and i was freaking out like crazy and i was shaking and i could barely breathe

so anyway, there’s like two people in front of us and then it’s our turn so i put my phone in the sleeve of my spider-man onsie and it was recording so i could remember everything he said

and FINALLY it’s our turn and we step in and tom holland looks right at me first and the first thing i notice is that he’s so TAN and so SHORT like he’s so much shorter than me haha and i just went right up and gave him a hug and he hugged me back and he was so soft and warm and he commented on my groot and said “it’s so cute” and we did our pose and i was literally shaking and then we walked out and it just felt like a dream it all happened so fast it was insane

like i have been looking up to tom for years and to finally meet him and to hug him was insane he’s such a genuinely nice person who loves his fans and he’s just so amazing it just feels like a fever dream

then later that night me and my bestie and my other friends went to benedict wong’s panel which was cool bc he was super funny and nice and after that panel ended me and iz were like “let’s swing by toms hotel oop”

so we get to the hotel and there’s already a couple other people out there on the curb and we’re like why don’t we just go in so we walk into the hotel and just kinda sit down and this random guy is like “are you here for tom holland” and we’re like “welll i can neither confirm not deny...” and the guy is like “yeah well he just went out for a run not too long ago so he’ll be back soon” and we’re like omggg

so we’re sitting at this table and we have our fanx shit and i’m in a spider-man onesie and iz is in a marvel shirt so it’s OBVIOUS that we’re fans and this lady comes up to us and asks if we want any drinks and we’re like nahhhh and she goes “if you’re here for tom he just went up to his room” and we’re like omg how long ago and she says “maybe an hour and a half?” so we’re like dang he’s probably staying in for the night bc that was about how long ago his last photo op was

so we’re sitting there just in case he comes back from a run bc we trust the guy more than the bartender and we see benedict wong in the hallway and we’re like omg that’s so cool but we stay sitting for tom holland

but then security comes up to us and says “hey if you’re not a guest and you’re not going to purchase anything then we are gonna have to ask you to leave bc we have some pretty high profile guests tonight” so we’re like that’s fair and we leave and as we’re on our way out we see benedict outside the hotel and he’s finishing up a kebab lol and we’re like omg that’s awesome so we get a pic with him and we tell him we just got done with his panel and how our friend jude wanted to ask a question but he got cut off bc they ran out of time so we ask his question and we found out that benedict wanted to be a lawyer when he grew up but he decided not to because “7 years is a long time to go to school” lol

then he asks us about what we wanted to be so we said art and animation and he asked me what movies inspired me and i started talking about into the spider verse and he said how much he enjoyed that movie and how pretty the animation was and how he cried throughout the whole thing bc the story was so compelling and then we hear “hey benny” and i look and TOM HOLLAND is in a big suv and the window is down and he said hi to benedict and did a peace sign at us and then he drove away

the IMPACT that man has on me like i started shaking INSTANTLY upon seeing him and my voice got shaky and i was like wtf that’s tom holland and benedict says to me “well i’m glad you got to have that moment especially in your spider man onesie” haha so we continue talking about animation and HTTYD3 and benedict just pulls out a juul and starts juulling right there it was so funny

after that we said bye and hugged him and thanked him for letting us talk with him and get a pic and he joked about how we owe him $60 for the selfie haha and we walked back over to the crowd of people on the curb and we were like GUESS WHAT and told them the whole thing and they were like that’s awesome and they found out that apparently he’s not going to be back til 2am bc of the people outside of the hotel oop so we’re like yeah we’re gonna leave now

and that was when my friends saw us over there bc their hotel is lit rally RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET and jude called me and i told him everything and how we asked his question for him (kinda gave me low key finding nemo vibes of when marlin tells nemo how old sea turtles are lol bc that was nemo’s big question)

but anyway that was AMAZING and one of the greatest experiences ever i’m pretty sure i’ve peaked now that i’ve met tom holland like i can die happy

(but it would be awesome to meet zendaya like that might actually kill me)

it was so scary because in the dream, the shooter was someone that i knew, and for some reason he had a personal vendetta against me and he came to my house and shot me while i was in bed. for some reason, i remember scrolling through instagram right after and i liked a post and i got a notification that said “this is your last chance to like this” bc i was gonna die bc i had just been shot in the forehead. but i survived being shot in the forehead bc right before he shot me i pulled the blankets over my head and it stopped the bullet before it hit me, so like for the rest of my dream i hid in the closet waiting for help or waiting for him to come back and finish the job
