I’d love to see a sequel or a tv show of solitaire!!! I love the fact that some stories don’t have happy endings and solitaire is one of the books that shows that

Ik Alice made it canon that Tori dosent want to go to uni but is it just me who kinda feels like she would?

Like hear me out , I feel like Tori has interests and things she cares passionately about, like when she cares about something enough that it cuts through her depression she's so caring about it

She's intelligent, she works things out , she thinks deeply

And also she seems sick of mundanity . Ik a lot of it is apathy from depression but I think that one of the biggest tricks depression plays on you is that it convinces you that anything that makes you feel better will make you feel worse. And I think that underneath the emotional exhaustion Tori wants to do something meaningful. And obviously u don't have to go to uni for that but I feel like for Tori it's the right choice.

In this little headcanon . Tori will take a gap year and realise that she mostly just was exhausted and depressed and trying to rebel against her parents and she'll go up north or something for a bit by herself and realise that she does want to go to uni she just needed something she's passionate about and to feel supported in the right way

And I think it would also help for her to feel independent from her family and pursuing something she lives for herself- not just for her family or what people expect of her. Cause she loves her family but I don't think people realise the till it takes on you to be mentally or physically ill and not have that recognised because your siblings mental or physical illnesses overshadow that. And that's not hers or her parents or Charlie's fault that's just how it happens.

I also see her like up north or in Wales or somewhere rainy and historical for a change of scenery but in a country campus uni with some good pastoral support for her. I think Michael and her family would be worried about her being so far away and so would she at first but I think once she settles down everyone will realise it was the right choice for her.

Idk maybe I'm just thinking of Francis in Radio Silence but that kinda vibe where she's like on the right path but not in the right way for her ?
