shhhh.... just pretend it's wednesday....

thank you @theradiodaemon for tagging me! this past week, i've been cooking up some cover art ideas for a longfic i wanna tackle. i really love the idea of fic covers aaaaaaaand it kinda helps me get ideas going for writing!

for context, it's a college stolitz au whose setting is heavily inspired by my own college experience. so for the cover, i wanted to do something with the two idiots and the lake next to the campus. here's some scrapped early concepts:

Theeeen I kinda landed on just using their hands. Somehow I've grown to absolutely adooore drawing hands (at least theirs hahaha).

As for the background, I bumbled my way through making the sunset just to have the idea of it down, and I used a pic I took years ago from college as the lake part. Just needed to see how it'd work all together before committing to learning how to properly put together the background huehuehue:

I do have the title picked out, just not ready to share it yet, but it'll go at the top right (if this all works out as I want it to).
