Experimental Animations Madness
So this was during one of Maks' class on Experimental Animations.
Technically this counts as Animation right?
Just... playing around with squares... totally a Jojo reference.

BRUCE SPEAKING!
I have successfully extracted the hidden voice of Bruce from his very hidden stash...
The very voice which surrounded the animation, the original, mythical, voice.
Enjoy and don't forget to go to the doctors for an ear check-up after you listen to this.
AND WHAT A PERFECT POST FOR MY 100TH POST OF THE BLOG!
I will release a subtitled version at some point.

BRUCE - 3D Animation [IMPROVED]
So you know how I posted an earlier one without my improvements and no sound?
I added sound to add more life to the animation. Though, I did enjoy the silence as I found the voice to be pretty annoying (-cuteness points, did not intend for this, will work on it more.)
I mean it's not perfect but WE DID IT!!!! It's good for my first ever 3D animation with voice overs and numerous different features!!

Adobe Audition - In Depth View of Special Effects
Using my knowledge found in my Experimental Studio Practices on Audition with Jim and time spent working, I used the audition stock effects which would enhance my vocals and change its pitch through minor adjustments after I set the effect.
I didn't do anything too big to change my voice drastically and I think I could have done more to do better.
But the main effects were:
Pitch Shifter
Studio Reverb
Chorus Effect
FFT Filter
Speech Volume Leveller
To make my vocals louder and clearer as it was being very distorted by the pitch shifters in Adobe Audition.

Adobe Audition / Premiere Pro - Voice recording over my video
I used the respective video editing software in order to create these audio clips and try to make them clearer and to their maximum potential as possible.
I used my own microphone which I had to order and utilised the recording feature of each software such as the multitrack session on Audition and one click record button on Premiere Pro.
It took a few tries, and this was my first time, so forgiveness please :(
I did, however, enjoy it!

Creation of the First Animation: Part 2
The creation of the first animation also used a lot of weight painting which was pretty painful because at the start, it wouldn't move. At all. AND THIS WAS AFTER FINALLY FIGURING OUT HOW TO PARENT MY OBJECTS PROPERLY WITH THE ARMATURE.
But after I got it to work, it was a matter of moving it (even more pain).
The horns of my character involved metallic shading in order to create a shine whenever emission hit the surface.
Camera movement + Lighting angle = Aweeesomeeeeeeee
But this went without pain. again. more. key. framing. hAHahAahahAHa

The Creation of the First Animation
The creation of the first animation involved some heavy keyframing and minor adjustments here and there which involved a lot of posing.
The majority of the colours within the first animation was finished by the shader editor function which was very basic adjustments and no hassle node to node editing.
I really wanted to emphasise on the core attack of Bruce so I used the emission volume lighting in order to light up my dark scene which would stand out a lot and greatly outsize Bruce to contrast and show off his POWWERRRRRRR (Terry Crews voice)

P.H.A.S.E 2
After creating the Phase 1 body, I just kind of went with the flow with phase 2, no holding back and I let my creativity go wherever it wanted.
I did not mean for Bruce to take such a dark turn but I'm happy he did. He's such a badass killer.

CONCEPT ART PART 2: THE COMEBACK
This concept art focused on the recreation of Bruce in his Phase 1 and Deactivated Phase.
I really wanted to keep Bruce as it is when activated, just like Robot Boy, but I also wanted my own touch with it.
Asides from the deactivated state, I got the main body of Bruce and the whole phases around him with this bundle of concept art which involved Grav-Lock mechanisms which keeps his limbs intact at all times, even if separated, unless pulled apart through even stronger magnetism.
I also debated if I wanted to give Bruce different sizes in terms of horns and body size and legs... cursed legs.
Instead I stayed with the innocent floaty boy.
But now... the real question is if he wore pants... would it be on his lower body? or his horns?

First Bruce Animation
This is the first time I joined both my world and Bruce together by importing Bruce into the World blender file.
Through long amounts of rigging and keyframing both the armature and camera, I managed to create this short little animation featuring a baby Bruce (no face and original design and colouring) and a few sounds to lighten up the mood!
This was the animation I first presented to the class!
Featuring Bruce's core attack
Bruce getting bullied
and Bruce getting bullied!
(Don't bully, bullying is bad, if you bully, I will find you myself with Bruce and zap your existence into atoms)
I still need to get more sleep sometimes

Original world setting
This was the setting for my first animation of Bruce!
It's really calm and very bright and colourful, perfect for PHASE 1!
I enjoyed making this which involved Lattice Displace and Proportional editing, many loop cuts, rough cuts and moulding using the sculpting tool!
I also learned how to mirror the clouds to maximise time efficiency and the decimate tool with objects in order to create dents into the roof and add a level of detail.
But no lie, I almost hit the ff button whilst trying to make this xD, however here it is!

PHASE 1 & P.H.A.S.E 2 - Bruce
All in one, for convenience.
Bruce and his Alter Ego, Abaddon.
Credits to owners of the Music.
Since this is pinned, thanks for the awesome lessons @ Maks, Manos and Oliver!
I really enjoyed learning new things, especially in Blender and Photoshop + After Effects, where I was really scared to use at the start!

Character Inspiration - Code Vein
Code vein was a game I recently started playing. It's not as difficult as Dark souls, but it definitely has its challenging moments (attacks that are literally un-dodge-able and put you on 1hp like what am I even dodging for?)
But the point is, each and every character you meet in this game has their own purpose in their stories.
Yes, powerful, yes unique and yes they are KILLERS. They will kill you no cap despite their pretty faces and friendly attitude.
I wanted Bruce to have a purpose in the world. I realised that maybe being a companion was not enough so I ended up making his ultimate goal to become the Hokage of the Saiyan Village hidden in the Soul Society who holds the legendary one piece treasure in Bikini Bottom (Work in Progress)
Asides from that, Code vein really helped with my character development as I wanted Bruce to be silent and cold to becoming more friendly and warm.. and develop to be what it's like to lose the things you care about.
Pretty dark but at some point we all face that point right?

Character Inspiration - VALORANT
I hate this game.
But it was a source for my abilities. (Well not directly their abilities but the birth to the idea of Bruce having abilities which is more than what was encoded and engineered into him)
I actually started playing this game as a means of having a reason to break my pc into tiny pieces. But aside from all of this, their designs are pretty eye catching (especially Jett, I promise I'm not a simp)
Each and every agent is unique; not just in design but they are literally characterised by their abilities. Phoenix who uses fire and Jett who zooms past you at Mach 5, yet still dies because it was insta -locked by a n00b.#
Their abilities made me wonder, what more can Bruce have which will make him his own character. More than just a machine, he is Bruce!
ON POST: Breach, Brim, Reyna, Sage, Jett, Omen, Astra, Sova, Viper, Killjoy

Character Inspiration - Main Character and Companion
Yuma and Replica, both from the world of World Trigger was a perfect setup for my character.
I really enjoyed this anime so much and is the reason why I wanted Bruce to have a connection with my main character (which is still under progress)
I wanted his power to come not only from himself and his origins but from finding the right partner and their connection with each other.
Yuma and Replica were literally inseparable and they were the source of each other's strength. While separated, Yuma could never be 100% and Replica would be more prone to being struck down.
Though Bruce has his rampages, the essence of Replica's calm and collected character still exists which is loyal to his companion.
Furthermore, the knowledge of Replica really peaked my interest, which led to the creation of the city sector known as 'The Mind of God'.
The power of friendship strikes again!

Character inspiration - Energized Abilities (BLUE)
Asides from PHASE 2, Bruce mainly works with blue energy as a shout to his origin.
This was inspired by both Minato and Kakashi, Sensei and Mentor, what a better duo for inspiration right?
The iconic moves, Chidori and Rasengan which were used by them gave birth to Bruce's powerful attack which features a nasty bright blue colour which will wreak havoc everywhere it lands.
Just like in the anime, both moves will kill you. Like seriously.
These two were also inspirations which I used to form the characteristic of Bruce. Kind and laid back in the times he is chilling and where peace is found, but when battle is initiated, he turns into a cold blooded killer, calm, collected and very powerful.
Reminiscent of Konoha's 'Yellow Flash' and 'Copy Ninja Kakashi' who were both known for the death of many ninjas who ever dared to face them head on.
