I know that finale of Henry Danger damn near just ignored what happened between the cave collapsing and Henryβs βfuneralβ but I really wish we wouldβve seen a scene where Henry actually told them both why he quit. Why he wanted to run with them to Dysopia because not even Ray knew that they were all going to move out there. And yes Jasper and Charlotte pretty much act the same in the end, but you can tell thereβs a distance between them and Ray. Like they know what he said to Henry to get him to quit. I justβ¦ wish we wouldβve gotten THAT scene.

ray probably told everyone they were all gonna watch my little pony: equestria girls, but actually put on a horror movie and threatened to fire and erase memories of anyone who tried to leave. He didnβt expect that he would also be afraid of the movie though.

I just had a thought and now my head hurts.
When Ray is explaining that Drex was his sidekick "before I even had this Man Cave", he could have meant before he was in Man Cave number five. But it's blatant that while Drex knew Ray owned the shop, he didn't know the Man Cave was below it. But he did know about the secret entrance in the vent (Danger Force for those who don't know what I'm on about). That's probably how he got in during Beginning of the End because there was no indication that the Man Cave was empty before that for him to sneak in.
But if he wasn't aware of the Man Cave before being imprisoned in the storage room, he couldn't have known about that vent. Unless Twitler told him directly but I assume there's no wifi running to that spot anymore so unless he had maps from his previous attempt, but he wasn't trying to get into the Man Cave then either. But he did hack their system. Maybe the airshaft was in the plans.
I don't know. I feel like the old Man Cave was like, in a shed or something. But also that means he blew up four man caves in a seven year timespan. Which doesn't seem that unlikely I guess, but Swellview seemed awfully confused by the earthquake from the fifth one. I have to wonder what the reaction was the closer to the surface they were.
Also also, What if he did have Drex in Man Cave number 4 (which would insinuate he blew up three in about the same amount of time?) What if their falling out ended with Drex blowing up the Man Cave thinking it was the only one and Ray being caught in the rubble and having to dig his way out. It's clear that damn elevator is as indestructible as he is.
I'm having thoughts guys!!

The blimp crashed, Ray went looking for Henry, and when he found him, Henry turned around and said "I'm okay."

does the henry danger intro with "feels good" at the end make anyone feel kind of sad? with every passing season that quote becomes less true to henry's experience and it feels reflective (not sure that's the right word here but you get the point) of the way henry just keeps pretending everything's fine when really everything's falling apart. and especially in the final episodes it just feels mocking almost. like here henry is, not graduating high school and finally realising what the past 6 years took from him and in the intro he still says "feels good". i'm like 100% reading too much into this but i just love henry so much, i can't help it. i really want him to actually feel good </3

maybe what i'm about to say will make zero sense and/or be very stupid but i just need to get it out of my head. i kind of feel like in some ways henry is to charlotte what swellview/fighting crime is to him. i think the easiest way to explain is to just list a few parallels
henry accepted the job as kid danger, no questions asked, in the premiere, only to realise in the finale that it would require him to basically devote himself to the city. charlotte accepted the job to help out, no questions asked, in s1e4. the show doesn't really deal with what the implications of that are for her but she's always the one behind the scenes and i 100% believe she feels responsible for henry (see below) and i think at some point in or after the show she realises just how much she's devoted for henry (will elaborate on a similar notion below)
henry is so devoted, in fact, that he is willing to sacrifice his life for swellview (and there's like a ton of issues that he has that also contribute to this but that's a rant for another time). charlotte is so devoted to henry that she was going to stay in the man cave to help him even as it collapsed around her. again i'm mostly speculating because the show criminally underdeveloped charlotte's character in response to what she also went through but i really think that she felt incredibly guilty and blamed herself when it seemed henry had died
related: henry keeps saving the city even though it hurts him sometimes, and charlotte keeps helping henry even though in the later seasons he's an awful friend sometimes (which i 100% believe to be a defense mechanism so he doesn't have to deal with his feelings but again, rant for another time) and even if he were always the greatest friend ever, helping him fight crime is no easy task. it's got to be taking a toll on her, especially in dystopia
fighting crime has become such an integral part of henry's life and identity that he keeps doing it even after he's not kid danger anymore, and charlotte keeps helping him do it. obviously this is mostly because they're friends and she wants to help her friend but i feel like after 6 years of being the smart one and feeling responsible for your best friend's life all that just becomes a part of you, much like how kid danger became a part of henry. maybe the reason charlotte left dystopia is that she realised that she had to live her own life (i only wish henry had realised the same thing </3)
so yeah maybe i'm just overanalysing this but do you see my point? the henry danger finale proved to me how incredibly devoted charlotte is to henry, and you can also see it throughout the course of the show and from the fact that she stays with him afterwards. she sometimes hides her love behind wisecracks and sarcasm but she does love henry so much and on top of that there's the dynamic of devotion i just described analogous to henry's devotion to swellview and fighting crime

Unpopular opinion but one of the villains in the Henry Danger Movie shouldβve been Ray. Like how thereβs an alternate version of piper, I honestly think it wouldβve been better to see an evil alternate Captain man whoβs bitter and wants revenge on Henry for leaving Swellview to be a hero in Dystopia. Ray could be more unstable. If only Missy had thought of that concept π

I always surprise myself when I rewatch Henry Danger just how excited I get. I am still reacting like I can't quote almost every scene. I rewatched the first episode, while taking notes, both for my fanfics and because I can't find any good analysis on the show, and I was squealing when Captain Man revealed himself to Henry, or when he showed up at Jasper's part. I really love this show.

I think Danger force was an interesting way to see a different side of ray, with Henry he was much more lenient which in turn meant Henry go injured and thrown around more than danger force. It shows an almost realisation on rays part that he needed to be stricter to avoid the same mistakes he made with Henry.
I personally loved danger force (not as much as HD but shh) but I can see what you mean it did almost feel like it was lacking something I canβt quite put my finger on although I do think that was partly made up for by the character growth we see with ray as you mentioned he didnβt choose danger force so he was more hesitant to love them.
I do also think in relation to the Dangerverse it was missing some major plot holes and could have been incorporated a lot better but overall I do think it is a good addition to the Dangerverse but Iβd love to see more additions to the Dangerverse.
I like the concept of Danger Force. Ray chose Henry, but he didn't choose Danger Force, and that progression from reluctance to love is an interesting chara arc. And there were some good story ideas, but I felt the execution of the show was missing something. I have some ideas on what, but that is an essay I will write when work slows down.
There are a lot of things I like and dislike about Danger Force. Both as its own show, and in relation to the Dangerverse, and Superhero sidekicks in general. So, while I'm waiting for a day off to write more on this. What are your thoughts?
