Republicans passed their shitty, terrible, bad, evil, ugly, nasty, tax cuts for the rich medicaid cuts and general terribleness for everyone else and give ICE all the money bill 218 to 214 with every Democrat against plus two Republicans and 218 Republicans voting for it.

and I just want to point something out. Democrats aren't against this bill because "politics" or whatever, they're against it because they really care, and because pretty much all them got into politics to help people. To get people more better health care, relieve poverty, support kids, make the world a better place

This is a bad day for everyone who wants the world to be a better place. At the risk of being hokey, Mr. Rogers told us to look for the helpers, well, vote to give the helpers the power to help. Vote so people like Congresswoman Pettersen can pass bills to help people in recovery, give health coverage to kids, give food to kids.
